    THANK YOU Carenado for properly modeling turbine spool up. AUS u don't need to make excuses for the "annoying" ignition ticking - it's all part of proper start up of the P&W PT6A-28.
    Once again AUS - another high quality vid - subscribed.......

    wow, yet again another high quality product from Carenado, and another well made test drive video! The texturing is phenomenal, as well as that sound! Stunning! Sorry about not commenting in a while, I watch all the videos, just been too busy to comment :( :( LOL about the stains! Your landings are getting better and better, especially in your GA planes! Another great vid my friend! enjoy the rest of your weekend! Cheers bud! :) :)

    Thank you very much, Shane. Brilliant video, as usual.
    Still on the fence with this PA31T. Textures are amazing, as usual with Carenado, however I read conflicting reports about the accuracy of several systems. My experience with the developer is that everything which is not fixed in v1.1 will hardly be fixed in a v1.2.
    Anyway, 10 out of 10 for your great presentantion.

    Great test drive episode Shane, I have been eying this one off for a while on Carenados Facebook page, similar inside to the Navajo. Definitely purchasing. I love how you mention the lack of stains, I'll never forget what I like to call "poo stain gate" lol. Very nice, beautiful looking video. Interested in that add on GPS u have, love for you to tell me about it sometime. Looked great.

    Good to see that you also have no turbine RPM indication until you set the condition levers. The supplied manual says to set the fuel levers to 'run' when the gas generator gets to 12%, yet there's no indication at all, you just have to go by the sound.

    • @AusFlightSimmer
      @AusFlightSimmer  7 років тому

      Yup, found the same!!!! Thanks for taking a look at the video.

    • @Quantiad
      @Quantiad 7 років тому

      This seems to have been fixed in the recent update. It spins to about 10%, which is better than nothing!

    Correction, the Cessna equivalent to the Cheyenne is the Cessna C425 Conquest I; The C441 Conquest II is actually more of a 'passenger' aircraft.

      No problem I figured it out. (leave this here for others) Its a few steps. Auto Pilot:
      Set your destination in flight planner. Then once you take off after about 1200 feet, look down between the yoke and find the altitude knob (its rectangular orange LED display with a white button on left).
      1. Set your elevation 10k feet, whatever) then hit the white set button on left.
      2. Click GPS on the GPS OR look down between the seats and look for the Auto Pilot switches. You can also click NAV here.
      3. Click ALT hold button this should engage the altitude hold
      4. Finally click both switches on the right of the console between the seats to AUTO PILOT -> On
      The plane should level off and begin a nice gentle turn to the destination you have on the flight plan. If not check everything and try again.
      HTH

    What's wrong with the rudder steering ot that aircraft? My old man has the same issue even configured it with FSUIPC.That can't be the real thing, and finally turns out horrible and unflyable! It's not just done with looking great.

    Nice but I have so many already collecting dust I just have to look away until the initial BUY BUY BUY subsides. We desperately needs more WW2 warbirds and modern fighters. Flying A-B using Orbyx is getting old.

      In the old days there was FScargo which was bare bones basic. I used Fs passengers but betreen all the dozens of programs already running on top, weather, textures etc, it was just to much. Also spending all that time getting setup, up and running only to have a ctd got old. Walked away 2 yrs ago and about 6 months ago reinstalled p3d on a monster rig. Been happy with everything.

      It 's very difficult to me too to taxi an keep within the centerline. Aircraft moves permanently, even if I try to make small corrections, once in the air everything is just fine. Tips are very welcome if you have them.

      Marcelo stay centered with pedals. Learn how the joke is supposed to be relative to winds. Do not exceed acft. performance or you might crash or damage the acft.
