Habibi Brothers!! You should introduce yourselves, tell us more about you. Where you live and what you do. Also, you can still make these reactions longer 😅. Keep up the quality work. Love you guy!
i graduated class of 2000. I've roughly seen this 25 times? (at least 3 times in theater and i wasn't a theater go-er for multiple reasons including an hour drive one way). My best friend in high school, who impossibly enough is 1 floor below me as I type this in 3/15/2024, used to fall asleep to the VHS copy of The Matrix every night for at least a year if not more. Remember this was before cellphones, high speed internet (we had dialup only option, cable internet was JUST laying infrastructure), or anything close to the satellite coverage we enjoy in 2024. The Matrix changed the lives and trajectory of a generation of people across the *globe*. Instant classic the day it hit theaters. Instant masterpiece without parallel in it's time. They spent SO much money making this movie the correct way and pioneered so many technologies for the industry that it stands on par with The Lord of the Rings' impact on cinematography.
Btw, from now on anytime u hear someone say or u yourself feel Deja Vu, you’ll think “it’s a glitch in the Matrix”. I saw this in the theater 3 times - I STILL say it🤭
There are a lot of people who believe the technology in this movie is a metaphor for our actual reality, and after watching some videos and reading some articles about consciousness I can't say I disagree with their conclusions. It's really pretty fascinating.
I've seen and read some of that stuff too and you're right, given the weirdness of the quantum world it's really hard to dispute a lot of their conclusions. Our reality is much different from what we've been taught it is and what we perceive it to be.
It's not super important to the story - BUT in terms of cultural impact, you have to understand also how 1999-internet felt like :D unlike today, where you are inundated in crazy, falling down conspiracy rabbit-holes in the 90s actually took some personal effort sitting up late, chatting with strangers truly felt like almost a forbidden activity, where you were trading in personal truths across the planet; probably not any more valid than todays ultra-charged circus, but it definitely *felt* more real :D
I love these movies... although any movie with Keanu Reeves in it, is a great movie. Can't wait to see you guys react to the other Matrix movies, as well as other Keanu Reeves movies. ❤😊
One of my favourite movies of all time, my grandma taped it on a VHS when it finally came out on TV and I've watched it so many times with my classmates at my grandma's house (I was like 9 or 10 at the time). I also had a huge crush on Trinity :D (which is quite understandable xD). Glad you guys loved it too.
Hey guys. The movie reactions are great. I didnt think you guys would do movie reactions. I was under the belief that you two knew a lot of movies, I sometimes hear movie quotes from you and I thought you were more Americanized than me. If i met you guys on any street in America, I would just assume you’re American, your English is great, and you speak like we do. Take care guys!
One of my favourite movies. Up there with Alien 1 & 2, Terminator 1 & 2, and Predator 1 & 2. Watch any of these movies and you'll be happy to be alive.
Morpheus: "You are a slave, Neo."... A Prison for Your Mind.🔋🐇💊 Thomas Andersons Passport ending in the Date: 9/11/2001. 🏗🤔 The Name of the Ship in the movie The Matrix is, Nebuchadnezzar. And the Crew fight with Robotes, who are look like a Octupus 🐙 very interesting. 🤔😁
I feel like a parasite, I cant enjoy the feeling of seeing this movie again for the first time, so I have to watch others do that and take from their emotions.
@@somthingbrutalMaybe reality is real, but how do you know you aren’t living in a convincing simulation? You can’t. It might mess with your head, but we could be living in a simulation within another simulation within another (ad infinitum) and there’s no way you can prove otherwise.
Old films are better - sfx has changed very little since this other than they can probably churn it out cheaper and faster (kinda wish ppl wold stop being wowed by sfx we've had this long)- back then they still had some plot and characterisation and weren't preaching so what's not to like? :) Good reaction!
Fun fact, Elon Musk actually believes we have a higher chance of living in a simulation than the life we live now. In the U.S., many do subscribe to the idea it’s possible. What makes us so unique to be around just before these advancements take place?
It is a provocative argument. I don’t know if it’s “possible” or not, but it seems impossible to know, let alone prove, otherwise. It does ultimately boil down to that old high school philosophical question “how do you know you weren’t created five minutes ago, with false memories that you lived the life you believe you lived?” No master how uncomfortable the idea is, it can’t be disproven.
Neo is an INTP, one of the 16 MBTI personalities. Agent Smith is an ISTJ, the two agents with agent Smith are ISFJ's, and Trinity is an ISTP. Morpheus is an ENFP, Cypher is an ESTP. The oracle is an INFJ. look into the 16 MBTI personalities test.
fun fact: Neo from the matrix is John Connors from Terminator.... in traditional Hollywood fashion they stole the entire story. Sophia Stewart not only wrote the book that was behind the script for this movie in 1981 (book is titled the third eye), she also recently won a multi million dollar suite against Sony, Warner bros and the Wachoski brothers. This is why all the terminators are the same exact concept and it's why the last matrix sucked they were not the ones who wrote the original story. and anyone who does not believe me look it up she literally won in court against them for copyrighting.
I mean I don't doubt you're right, but I feel like the movies themselves are drastically different so you can still enjoy both as completely separate entities.

I think it's success & longevity was the message.

Yes a bit longer would be so much better!!! Love spending time with you!!! 🖖🏻🇨🇦
They can Not do this because These Guys are Fake
You hear that Mr. Anderson? That's the sound of inevitability.
one of my favorite movies. can't tell you how many times i've watched it
totally agree, same here!
I worked for Sears back when this movie was big. We played this on a loop on DVD. I still love this movie.
My favourite film of all time and more relevant as the years go by😩😆

One of the best science fiction movies EVER.
And so it begins! 😅

Definitely. Late nights on IRC in the 90s was my childhood
The opening scene is one of the best written in all film. Sets the tone, story, and mystery perfectly
This is probably the most interesting reaction channel right now. I wish you both long happy lives in peace. :)

The Matrix franchise is just great. I’ve watched all of them many times.
Some don't know this, but "agent Smith" is also "Elrond" from the lord of the rings movies and "V" from V for vendetta.
One of my favorite movies from back in the day! There is more movies to the series for you guys to watch!
Good reaction, keep going. 3 more
No two more, the fourth was very weak.
@@zevynozevyn4102 incorrect, the 4th may have been the most brilliant

Really enjoy your reactions, guys. Keep them coming!
in the 90`s you had to use the phone line to connect to internet,, that is why they use the phone(land line) to get in and out of the matrix
