I have the grapple for my SA425. I had more trouble with it than any other piece of equipment. I had three different hose ends separate under pressure. This started around maybe 7 hours on it. I took the hoses down to my Yanmar approved tractor dealer and they said they weren't crimped correctly. They recrimped them and they are doing well now at 100 hours. Must have been done on a Friday afternoon.
That is unfortunate to hear. I've used mine less than some of my other implements but it has always been reliable after I figured out the initial leaking problem shown in this video. That also stressed them quite a bit and they survived so I'm guessing my crimps are solid. Good to hear the dealer solved your problem and it once again demonstrates how nice it is to have good dealer support. Thanks for watching and happy tractoring!
Thanks for the message and for watching. The Yanmar has been great for me so far. I'm pretty sure they are both really well built and really quietly marketed. I'm doing a 50 hour service shortly and will do a bit of a reflection on the first work done and impressions soon. Perhaps that will help you down the road.

Thinking about a yanmar. I think they are really under rated.
