Richard Rawlings and car collector Dennis Collins go to see a wealthy car owner to purchase a 1968 Ford Shelby GT350. While there, they find three super rare Mustangs: a red Boss 302, a black Boss 351, and a Mach 1 Mustang, but will the seller be willing to part ways with all four?

The odd thing about these guys chasing classic cars is they are always driving newer vehicles when roaming around. Too many Classic cars are relegated to being a toy rather than a functional vehicle for daily use.
Rentals mostly because why drive your classic car 1000 miles 4 or 6 states away from Texas....wouldn't make sense .
These classics are rare relics not daily drivers bud

I’m gonna go ahead and call BS on that buyout of $65K that GT350 alone is worth just that today unrestored. You couldn’t touch a factory R code drag pack for under $50k even in that condition.

What’s wrong with Dennis?
If it wasn't for Dennis, Richard would be a small time used car dealer. As it is Richard is a big time, in his mind, used car dealer. Dennis flicked Richard most of Richards "big finds" in the early days, Dennis' money secured the bigger finds and it was Dennis' contacts who fixed Richards biggest makeover, at the time, the Ferrari F40.
Richards biggest money earner is merchandising. Second is other ventures like bar & food outlets and motorsport sponsorships. The next would be the gas Monkey used car sales lot. And the last would be actual hot rod builds.
Good on him for grabbing the opportunity with both hands and making plenty from it but there is way better shops to do a hot rod build, just around Texas let alone America and Gas Monkey would be down the bottom of the barrel for me.

Actually Ford did not offer a lot of options in the Boss 302/351 cars...they were minimally optioned...these cars don't have value based on their options they have value if they are real Boss cars....this guy never ceases to amaze me how little he knows about cars.
