That crossover series with the mutant saga storyline with Spiderman was so good. George Buza's Beast being a former friend of Herbert Landon voiced by David Warner and the disagreements they had regarding the mutant agenda gave chills.
I enjoyed this show growing up as a kid!!! Cyclops, Wolverine and Beast were my favorite characters in the show!! It is also introduced me to the X-Men Comics!!
George Buza's The Beast had an incredible story arc and really was the Conscience of the team. He brought such amazing gravitas to the role which was just beautiful. I even enjoyed the small cameo he had as the truck driver who gives Rogue a ride to the final stop where she meets Wolverine for the first time. The Phalanx project with Mr. Sinister and Beast teaming up was awesome and that aristocratic performance that Chris Britton brought was perfect. They really paid homage to the comics with Nathaniel Essex's Mr. Sinister to creating a perfect mutant which of course didn't happen in the show. Hugh Jackman said for his preparation of Wolverine he kept listening to Cal Dodd's portrayal of Wolverine from the animated series constantly as a way to perfect his live action performance.
Really looking forward to that X-Men: The Animated Series on Disney+. Beyond that, other possibilities would mean a new modern X-Men animated series or special mutant appearances in current cartoons such as Avengers Assemble & Spider-Man.
