Legend! Far out! I mean out of sight mate! Thought I was gonna have to ask for my money back as I'd only done 2k on the odometer -legend, worked immediately! I saw a spark and she was up and running! Legend!
I had exactly the same error codes as per you video -I knew that there was heaps of fuel in her and now fuel-o-meter reads as expected! Cheers again stoked!

My car came up with the very low fuel alarm aswell . It had about half a tank of fuel . I could still drive and has started everytime since . I fuelled it up and the alarm hasn't gone off again, Could this be a problem that could arise again ?
If the car wasn't starting when you had that issue and everything else I showed, more than likely it will get worse with time.
You probably need a new fuel tank sender/pump module

Thanks again. Worked like a charm. Was worried wouldn't get home with all the error messages including service e vehicle soon, power train error and fuel gauge error. And also gears would slam down real hard when slowing down and also a vibration running throughout the car. But I got home. Thanks again. 😊👍

VZ Commodore will not turn over to start not fuel not immobilised not ignition crank angle replaced car has been recoded but will not turn over starter good
There's a few videos that suggest a fuse or 2 may need replacing for the no start issue.

I'm getting all the faults near same shit won't start or tick. Tried the starter no luck..now it seems fuses r heating up? Have i fucked the relays? Electrics now r all over the shop..no lights ect. Dash flashing dim..ecu cooked aswell as relays??

Mine is very similar to this, but it will turn over and even make like a metal ting sound and then it randomly starts out off no where literally I just got stuck at a petrol station because I did it to me and then I put some fuel in and I just randomly started lol
I have a 6L VZ ute, turn key and cranks.. sometimes it doesn’t fire, then second turn of key it’s all sweet. Have replaced ecu before it’s one thing after another atm haha

Hey m8 I have vz commodore. I've had the same problem with the car not starting when ignition turned to crank and the dash has the same fault codes showing up and I had tried your trick but all heard was the ecu itself ticking and the dash would turn off after a couple of tries of trying to turn the engine.

For anyone where this is not fixing the issue, try wiggling the connection to the starter motor, sometimes the connection goes bad. This fixed it for me after this video did not work.
Had this exact issue yesterday but my fix after trying this was simply pull the electrical wire plug off the starter motor then put it back on . Another tip ...

i have holden vz 2006 5.7 V8
This problem occurred suddenly and without any reason and I did not do anything to the car,, And when it happened, it became difficult to start the car, as you will see in the video in the link,,, And when the car is running, the fuel indicator meter does not work, the engine temperature indicator meter does not work, and the cruise control does not work,,Also the air conditioner is not working,,, I drove my car to several electricians, but no one knows why,, One of the electricians gave electricity directly from the battery to the starter, and the car started quickly and without any problem,,,Then he gave electricity directly from the battery to the compressor, then it started,, And they are all exposed on all fuses and relays everything is woring good,,, Relays and fuses have been replaced and the same problem has not changed,,They all checked the ground wires and they are all good,,,important note
The car's fans are working very normally and also the petrol pump is working normally, the problem is only in the difficulty of starting the engine and also the fuel indicator and the temperature of the engine and the air conditioner and the cruise control, all of them happened at the same time

i put a switch in under the dash and connected it to the ignition relay,just remember to start it in park

Have the same codes on the dash and no start no crank. When I try this method it wants to start and cranks but doesn’t fire up. I’ve tried turning the key off and on a fair few times but still nothing. Any ideas?

Hi, I have the same problem with a Holden commodore 2005 v8 5.7l. Saw that you saw that it should be the ECU so I got one refurbished and programmed to the VIN, replaced it but the problem still persist. What could be wrong with the car?
Need more information on excatly what the symptoms are.
My vz ss ute 5.7L has the same issue, I relocated the ecu from the engine bay to the inside of the car and I swapped my ss cluster for a vz club sport cluster aswell, everything is plugged in but car won’t turn over and can’t hear the fuel pump prime or anything happen in the engine bay. Tried bridging the starter and fuel pump and still wouldn’t fire, I’m stuck now and I wouldn’t have a clue on what to do

@@ALLOFTHEBOOST yeah mine had an aftermarket alarm system which placed relays and fuses between the ignition barrel and the bcm, so once the relay and fuse blew there was no communication between the ignition and bcm, I eliminated the alarm system and it’s all good now

I have a vz Calais that has the same problems ie won’t crank
I tried bridging the start relay and it cranks but doesn’t fire
Can’t hear fuel pump prime after having someone turn key on and off 12 times
I brought ECU PIM BCM and key head from a working Calais but no change after fitting
Could it be fuel pump?
I brought the car from pickles auctions with light front damage
Have checked all wiring and fuses etc
Any help would be appreciated
I don't know your level of knowledge and skill. So many things can cause a no start. But start with spray some start ya bastard into the air intake and crank to see if it tend to start. If it does you have two issue. Injector not turning on or fuel pump. Now you do need a test light at least to check injector. If it's a 3.6 litre then injectors are under the manifold but the wiring plug is at accessible at the rear of engine but you need to know what you checking. Same with the fuel pump, you need to get to pump and check for power and ground as someone is cranking.

I also think it’s possible that the second hand ecu pim etc may have not been working the person did assure me it was but if I bridge start relay it should fire I assume?
is there an average kms travelled that they tend to go on these?
I've seen various KMs on them but mostly after 15000 km

I have a 2004 VY SS Commodore with an intermittent start issue. Will crank but not turnover. Fault code suggested slip ring, but have replaced slip ring and key and issue remains. Also had ALL modules removed and sent to injectronics in Melbourne. No issue was found with modules/computer. Any suggestions?
First figure out you missing spark, fuel, or injector control.
@a1mechanicaloakey639 can hear furl pump engage when you turn key. Roadside assist and mechanic tested spark plug and said there was spark. I've asked about injectors but dont think they've been tested
Have you taken it to a mechanic shop? Injector controls needs to be testes with test light while cranking. If that's missing then may be of immobiliser issue.
Also swap engine control relay with good known relay too. They common to go bad.
@@a1mechanicaloakey639 has to been to a couple of different mechanics. They do not like being asked to run specific tests, nor give great feedback on what has or not been tested. Injector control test I have asked about, but noone has done. Not an immobiliser issue

feel like this could be stupide question but could this cause the motor to seize up completely feel like this could be the problem for me as it just lost power the day i brought it was driving down the highway i didn't thrash it or anything well anymore than u would a car your gonna buy
Seized motor is not related to this video. If you suspect seized motor grab a 19 mm spanner or socket wrench and turn the crank shaft at the balancer. Please make sure the key is out of the ignition before you do this. If motor turns easily with hand then it's not seized motor.

Nothing but big long socket wrench put some pipe extension and wank it both direction with key off. If it doesn't move then something majorly bent internal. Just gotta drag skull the torque converter to seperate engine if not.

Battery went flat on me driving it today and just won’t even run now as I need to replace that so maybe that could also cause the problem?
Hey mate great video! What is the issue if the car just makes 1 tic noise when you try turn it over? Is that the same issue and does it need the same solution ie new computer?
Starter motor, loose wire at the starter, loose battery terminal, weak battery, seized engine, may be ignition switch but I doubt it These are most likely the issue with yours.

This happened to me. I removed PIM, BCM and ECU. Sent them away to get reprogrammed. Cost me $700 as I live 1700 km's from perth. Learned later I could've swapped these out from a wrecked VZ for $400. No matter it fixed the problem.
I did same. cost me $1600. However no issue was found with the modules, and the intermittent start issue remains..
