I have owned two of these and my 3rd is on the way. The luggage rack should be pulled out when the scooter is used to make it less likely to tip over. I moved my brake handle to the side with the throttle. I wish arm rests were available and that a seatbelt came with it. I have never used anything but the 18” seat. Other changes I wish they would make include having the forward-reverse button was in the same side as the throttle or even better would be to be able to reverse it by pulling the throttle towards you. The horn button is far too easy to press and could use a way to cover it when you don’t intend to press it. The light also comes on easily. On two occasions I thought I was out of battery power only to discover that jostling while riding had caused the battery button to flip into the off position. This model is not good on grass, gravel, snow and steep inclines. I almost had a terrible accident at Univ. Of Florida’s football stadium when the scooter couldn’t make it up a long steep ramp and then swiftly rolled backwards. It caused me to fracture my left knee in several places when I tried stopping the scooter Flintstone’s style. Another time the brakes failed on a ramp causing a lot of panic in a crowd. Thanks to a quick thinking man who grabbed it by the seat, I didn’t hit anyone. This scooter is great for travel. I can put one suitcase on the luggage rack, roll another using my free hand and wear a large backpack and get to the airport with everything I need for a six week trip.
