This will be a game changer for me on my vacation, which has been planned for over a year. Six weeks fishing. I have been working at walking and increasing my breath so I don’t run out so quickly. By the time I get back, I should be fine. But because I’m 77 recovery takes a long time and you go downhill fast. Last fall, I wasn’t feeling good, I went downhill fast, around Christmas time I could hardly walk at all before I got sick. On an ever increasing progressive curve I kept getting worse and worse to where if I moved around a lot I would throw up. There were other symptoms of unpleasant kind. At any rate for three months, I had not walked more than 50 steps I would say. For over a month my doctor is putting me through all kinds of tests. Then I went to another doctor doctor sent me for more tests. He asked me if I have been tested for Alpha-gal? I was not. Finally a test that came back, solving my problem. Due to a tick bite I can no longer eat meat that has a hoof.
Stumbled across your review after purchasing one of these impulsively this weekend. First of all, great review! Actually perhaps one of the most real and honest product reviews I've ever seen. My grandmother (84) loves to fish and work around the yard, but in recent years her almost lifelong copd and asthma have caught up with her leading to drastically reduced capacities as far as how long she can do those things. She has no trouble doing daily activities for her age, but any amount of walking longer than a lap around Walmart has her extremely winded and exhausted for the rest of the day. We actually havent been able to go to our favorite and local (5 minutes away) fishing spot for about 4 years now because it requires a 0.7 mile walk down a gravel DEC trail to access the pond. Instead we drive anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour away to fish in spots where she can get out of the car and walk a short distance. By the time we travel she's exhausted when we get home anyways. Mine is coming in the mail and ill be glad to report back with our experiences for comparison. The idea is this will let her tow her fishing gear to the trout pond and putter around our 1 acre yard tending gardens and moving around mulch etc.
That is honestly the same reason we bought this one. I bought it from my grandma who is 81 in struggles with breathing as well. We bought this so that she can still go outside and run around and still be safe.

Can you attach the brake on the right side along with the throttle for someone that doesn't have use of their left hand?
