finally somebody shows the process, need to do mine, too... i thought it would be a bigger deal and was wondering what i need to order - thanks to you i know exactly what i need now :)
Great video I have an e36 m3 evo and have been waiting for somone to do a video on replacing the rear pop out window seal's out of interest how much was a complete set for both side's and where from
If you have a sunroof, check that the drain tubes aren't blocked or damaged. This was causing water to pool in driver's footwell and the boot floor for me.
no mate just get your serial number and go to "real oem" it find the schematic for it. will be under trim or glass. And it lists part numbers specific to your car. its important to do it this way because theres so many subtle difference. alternativly just phone main dealership.
bmw dealership were the only place mate I had to pay the money. about 45-50 quid for each lower seal and I think about the same for the inner lining seal piece on the inside.
Forensic Detailing Channel I would love to know what you think of Aquawax sometime if you ever at a lose end lol, I use it for my intermediate washes and get nice results but I’m always worried there’s something better that I’m missing out on if you know what I mean. I do a full decontam with claybar etc and then waxpaste twice a year, then aquawax for intermediate washes...
they all much the same theres only a limited number of cationic siloxanes out there. I will try and check this one out though at some point its just Ive literally done spray and rinse products to death on the channel now.

Do you think replacing that seal would stop all the water coming into the rear foot well as it’s always wet in mine after it rains
