The Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Roller Coaster is currently found in Disneyland Park in California, the Magic Kingdom Park at the Walt Disney World Resort, the Tokyo Disneyland Park at the Tokyo Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Paris Park at the Disneyland Paris Resort, and finally Hong Kong Disneyland Park as the Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars! While the first 4 Big Thunder Mountains at Disneyland Park, the Magic Kingdom, Tokyo Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris share many similarities, they each have their own unique twists, turns, and effects like the explosion effects only found at Disneyland Park and Disneyland Paris or the Flood Scenes found at the Magic Kindom and Tokyo Disneyland. Hong Kong Disneyland's Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars, on the other hand, is a completely different experience, from the story to the ride experience. Instead of going up multiple lift hills for a standard roller coaster experience, Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars has backward sections as well as a high-speed launch!

I've been to both Disneyland and Disneyworld but I was 3 when I went to Disneyworld compared to 14 when I went to Disneyland, and in 2026 sometime my whole family will be going again and this time with my girlfriend as well. I remember the rides I rode the most was Thunder Mountain, Matterhorn and California screamin which is now called Incredicoaster. I'm very much so looking forward to it as I'm 30 now so it was over half my life ago and I wanna see what all has changed.

Our favorite is Disneyland Paris' version since it retains the classic feel of the original while adding more speed and thrill into nearly every section of the ride. They also have a mechanism onboard that vibrates the vehicles as they move down the track so it feels more out of control compared to Disneyland's which is very smooth
