I've reached a point where the "exit your lazy girl era" videos are just draining and more noise to me quite frankly on social media - self development content is truly a love / wtf relationship for me and I needed to express this. like, they don't hit in the way they are meant to hit bcos when you're in a sh*tty situation, someone telling you to stop being lazy is LITERALLY so redundant - like they may as well not speak
but as always im a walking contradiction bcos I make self development content too lmao ok - I just have so many thoughts on this that I really wanted to get off my chest

Giirl you just said everything and more that I have on my mind lately so thank you for the reassurence 🙏🏻 im totally embracing my lazy girl era but I just call it the “uninspired era” 😄 im just learning not to force things when I just don’t have that spark and I know that better time will come for me to move forward, now I just have to reflect and learn from this time!

I think they’re good to get that initial motivation but videos like 30 tips that look nothing like your life are a recipe for disaster since you’re bound to forget half, fail the other half and get humbled by the gap between you and your desired life haha
Trying this year too, but i introduce 1 change every 2-4 weeks since mid-December, and only when the previous “good” habit is anchored, and with the intent to experiment rather than treat it as some all or nothing “if this one doesn’t work out give up on the whole thing”
