What danny said was very true, usually to quit some type of addiction you have to replace it with another to fill the void you have created. I traded drinking for smoking weed and it was the best thing I ever did.

I have both nicotine and caffeine addiction, and I'm pretty lost without caffeine right now. Currently struggling on a no sugar diet also, I wish I could reflect and see the future healthy me.

I feel this one man. I work at the local Walmart and always drink a rockstar original before I start my shift walking in the door and then another one on my way back in from lunch and I also take kratom for pain since it's an extremely physically draining job and right now I'm out of kratom so my whole body is fucking killing me until I get more. Iv been weening myself off of it for maybe the last month and the withdrawal isn't nearly as bad as last time when I said fuck it and tried quitting cold turkey, that was the worst thing I've ever been through.
I was drinking kratom 1 level spoonful maybe 5-6 times a day for back pain however that would wasn't enough and was up to 1 heaping spoonful every 2 hours which got to the point where I had to have it just to feel normal. I haven't had any for 2 days so far and while I'm hurting I have my 2 days off from work so I get a little relief for now😅.
