2) D-Wade (only championship where Shaq wasn’t finals MVP)
3) Penny (never won with him)
I never understood how Shaq seems to always discredit D-Wade. He said something similar on open court. There is absolutely no way anyone ranks Penny over D-Wade all time. Championships matter and if it wasn’t for D-Wade, Shaq you would be looked at very differently and Kobe would have 5 to your 3! Give Wade his flowers Shaq, he was THE MAN!

If you didn’t catch it, Shaq’a ranking was:
1) Kobe
2) Penny
3) DWade
I thought DWade would be 2, but I get it. Young Penny as a point guard dishing and always looking for Shaq must’ve been nice for him.
also you have to consider that he wasn’t “that guy” anymore once he played with dwade. he said it himself, that it was dwade’s team once he got there. so he must feel differently about it, despite winning a ring. dwade was clearly the better player at that point, whereas on magic and lakers, he was the main guy
dwade is no doubt the better overall player compared to penny tho, no disrespect

I can only think of MJ and Kobe as a guard that, for a season, put up 30 a game while finishing, at least, top 3 in MVP and DPOY. Wade did in 09 I believe. 2 way monster.
Respect your opinion though. Penny’s game was close to flawless. Wish we could’ve seen his peak. Injuries suck.
