A wonderful scale like display, it looked a bit tail heavy, but that could be as it is the first flight, a very nice model, in finish and sound, thanks for posting this one Horst! Stay safe, Chris B.
Hi Chris.
This was the pilot's first flight in a P-51. As you probably know, the different models always behave a little differently. This is particularly noticeable with Warbirds. A few more flights and a little tweaking of the settings, he will definitely master the model very well.

To anyone with comments regarding it being tail-heavy or not.. YES it’s tail-heavy. I’ve flown models for almost 30 years. I can see it right away. Hopefully the gentleman who made the video/owns the plane rebalanced it. BEAUTIFUL airplane. Great work.

It's great to see the young ones involved & interested in this. When I was that age the R/C technology was very limited. But these young kids these days are in for some amazing years ahead.

Nice-looking model the electric start and the four-blade was a hit for me, engine sounds most realistic at idle and just above, would have been nice to see it taxi back

Is that small Chin scoop under the spinner enough to cool that 3cyl engine? or is there something else that cools the motor?
There is no additional equipment to keep the engine within its temperature.

Watching the landing, maybe a less steep and faster approach would be more safe?
To me, it looks as if the plane tip stalls on the left wing and drops to the ground about half a foot - maybe less ...
Is the CG a bit too far aft or did you need less elevator movement? At times during the flight and approach, the plane looked a bit 'pitchy' ...

in many moments of the flight, the plane was in the edge of disaster, but great looking plane and sound.. Needs a lot of adjutsments.
Beautiful plane, that sound is excellent. I would think it a bit tail heavy but that is also my favorite scheme. Bald Eagle. Is that a CY models P51? In my opinion the hardest RC plane to land a scale P51, great job

Wow...I really like this engine. Is this P 51 Mustang a petrol engine? I just bought this model. Mine uses a battery. It's a model with a wingspan of 650 mm. But now I can't fly because it rains all the time in Thailand lately. Thank you very much for the nice video clip.😊

Watching this video again that looks like a CARF P-51 standard version not the Gallaping Ghoast version. How did you fit a 210 kolm in there. Didn't think there was enough room in the standard version?

It's a maiden and therefore trimming and other adjustments are mandatory.

A little tail heavy
The two bladed prop ruins the authentic appearance completely. Not only would the proper four blades greatly improve the static look, much of the prop noise would be decreased.
