kinda sacrilege to say that even if he is technically better at drums than joey, their original drummer. it's just not the same. but how many guys have left (inc passed away) his band? like 3 or so?
@@robosing225 Joey was a reference, but Eloy is better than him
the voice of corey didn't get old.. still sounds on its prime.. best vocalist of all time..
Can’t say enough how unbelievable these guys were last night. I’ve seen them so many times and this 1999 set just brought emotions out of me that I haven’t felt in years. And they sound incredible. They could play another 25 years at this rate. Just amazing. Long live the Knot
I’m about to go see them at madison square garden pray for me 😂
Knot🤭
The kid (or guy whatever) at the start "OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOD!!" is just so true and pure excitement!! Little over a week till I'm at Scotiabank Arena doing the same thing!!!
Eloy using tortilla head as a drum cymbal 1:06:52 hahaha
😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Kkkkkkkkkkkk
Now there's got to be a drum cam of this!
The drum set is trying to scape from that psycho Eloy, but Tortilla is holding it 😆
Been a Slipknot fan for 24 years, that's what I'm talking about...
Eloy with the original Eeyore speed. Haven't heard it that fast other than the studio version. 🤘🏻
Joey did it fast as fuck during 2000 and he did it with the 16th doubles too
@cekla6895 he did, like the Disasterpieces DVD, but it wasn't studio version fast or on point like this. Compare if you like.
@@XD-mg1tk he broke his left foot before the recording of the disasterpieces dvd he was playing slow during that concert
9:13
The 2024 stage is better for the band. Everyone can run and jump well. Clown runs around a lot again, bangs, moshes like he did years ago.
And they play an oldschool setlist.
Yeah their past setups have been to artsy and complicated imo. This is back to that raw feel.
I hope this is inspiration for new material
I never thought I would see old slipknot. I swear my eyes got a little watery seeing this
Man they sound awesome. I don't remember Slipknot sounding this good live in a loooong time, some 20+ years
1:06:51 tortilla got a part of the eloy's solo haha
you blink your eyes, and you miss it., aahh
Parece que foi ontem que o Eloy tava tocando no Faustão. Fico feliz demais de ver onde o cara chegou!
O cara só plantou coisas boas desde aquela oportunidade ! É agora está conhecendo os frutos.🎉🎉🎉😊
The setlist 🥲
(sic) is always be the best opening song for me
Thank you, man.
Bring back high school core meories ❤
Today's is August 8, 2024, and tomorrow I will see them! I'm so glad that they have Eloy now, Slipknot needed a drummer like him. Slipknot is really strong now. The energy and the sound are strong, like when they had Joy, I love this new Slipknot, and it sounds like Slipknot. 10 years ago, they sounded like a band trying to do Slipknot covers!
I remember when the 1st album came out when I was in 9th grade. Blew my fucking mind 🤯. It’s hard to describe how different and life changing that was. It was THE hardest thing out there and nothing came even 50 % close to being as aggressive as that album. NOTHING compared to that.🤘🏻🤘🏻
I watched this set from yesterday in Indy, people are not understanding how amazing it is to see Scissors being preformed in concert. the entire second half of this song is all improv. This was corey tayors favorite slipkot song ever made. It doesn't seem like the audience sees this song through. This is slipknot's best creation, hands down.
I think it's among the top 5 slipknot creations for sure
is Corey screaming like in the original version at the end of Scissors, before the "it is time" part? i can't hear properly
First time it was performed since 2000 he said
@@freddylimpster7137 no the second half of the song is improv on the album, you can listen to it on youtube. From all the recordings that ive seen live, they never play it exactly the same whenever they play it. From my understanding, every time they play the song, its improvised basically after the "biding my time until the time is right" part when the song cools down.
Just got back from that show! Had an awesome time!!
Thank you for recapturing it all for me to watch again!!
I envy you 😂
I really hope Slipknot record a movie of this tour. We need that
I was there. I had an amazing time i would definitely go again. i am a new fan i started liking them in 2022, and i dont regret it i am absolutely obsessed with slipknot.
Love you slipknot!🤘🏻❤
i had seen slipknot 4 times before this. i've always wanted to be old enough to see them back in 99-00 so this was legitimately such a special moment and such a breath of fresh air from the concerts i went to before this one. amazing time
Eloy hitting his drums is like a guy trying to hammer a nail that just won't go in.... and I'm here for it.
This was a Legendary performance of Scissors
going to see them in NJ Saturday. This got me so pumped!!!!
See ya there 🤘🤘🤘
Thank you so much for filming it 🤟🤟🙏
I would kill to be here. Sic. Tattered and torn . Prosthetics. Eyeless liberate wait and bleed spit it out. And SCISSORS. Bro I OFTEN. Come back to this full album still to this day and let it play all the way through. In fact after seeing that they’re doing this I’ll probably do it tomorrow . I’ve probably done it within the last month at least twice and who could forget surfacing. I would say I’m at least an 85% knows every single word to this entire album
I think this is what Corey needed for whatever he is going thru I felt that shit during scissors he def going thru shit man this crazy
The fact that I missed them playing self titled which is by far my favorite album... I will never forgive myself for
Thank you for this video, with this quality I can really enjoy their show! They sound amazing!
Muito obrigado, Sio. Os fãs do Brasil agradecem🇧🇷❤🎉
Mesa da percussão Michael Pfaff
best video so far from 2024 slipknot, thank you sioproductions.
I WAS THERE IN THE PIT TOO AND I STILL CANT TALK !! I love when Corey thanked the crowd and said this 25 yrs was a gift he is so humble we went backstage and met the band and they were amazing !!
Damn seen these 17 times live. First time was download festival 2004. Can't wait for the European tour
And I'm also glad they got rid of the high rise fixed percussion drums. Tortilla amd clown just can't interact on the stage with those things there
Keep coming back to this video to try and refeel the energy from this night… Was one of the greatest concerts I’ve ever been to!! 🤘
37:01 that guitar sounds diabolical !
If 1999 Corey was able to travel forward in time and see his 50 year old self, I wonder how pleasantly surprised he'd be.
I havent heard these songs in years thank you for that and best ive ever heard corey live hes gotten better over the years
Eloy is smacking the shit out of this drum!!!
No disrespect to jay and eloy FANS but JOEY JORDISON doesn’t even look like he’s trying, his movements and precision is just EFFORTLESS. jay and eloy are great but they look like theyre playing a hard song. check all drumcams of the #1 - JOEY JORDISON
JOEY JORDISON is irreplaceable!!
Venturella and Eloy together are just insane, you can hear the devil talking trhough their hands. Those Bass Lines are so loud and so fucking powerfull. I loved hearing scissors by Eloy he added so much.
1:00:54 COREY BRINGING 1999 BACK GODLY
Excelente grabación,gracias
Well, this setlist might actually be worth my money .
I was there, this was my first time seeing them live. They played all songs from self titled and it was the best
this is the most accurate, literally pov experience
Thank you for posting this!! Best knot show I've seen in a long time.
16:27 get this! it´s the best song for me!!!! I never see this song on concert! amazing
I am a slipknot fan since like 2 years now. I watched so many live shows from them and its absolutely amazing to see how the time and they changed. And now, my life will be completed wenn I see them next year at rock am ring during their anniversity.
They won't be able to pull this off if it were not Eloy on the drum set. And also Corey is so on fire!
This is the best I've seen this year in terms of concerts so far! They played the entire first record! It's absolutely amazing!❤
Damn, that eyeless intro. Close your eyes and it's Joey.
This setlist is crazy 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I can't belive they are bring this setlist lot of song i never hear in live, this is soo legend🔥🔥🔥
So they're playing Get This and Eeyore and crowd is just standing there? I'd lose my mind!!!
Yeah bro wtf cant wait when they go to europe and south américa with real crowds
Eloy in Slipknot is just God Tier like. Really is 1999 again.
Went to the Ridgefield, WA show...ty so much for helping me recreate that moment...that shit was magic...STAY SIC!
I really hope they capture at least one full length pro-shot performance with direct mixing desk audio during this tour!!
I was here for this, and I was literally in disbelief to how amazing this was. self titled is my favorite album and I was bouncing around like a crackhead
epic thanks for the upload
I joined the air force two weeks after nine eleven. This banks and their music pushed me through everything. The older songs are the best but they still keep it as heavy as metal deserves to be. Ty slipknot!! Maggot for life!!
56:35 Sid casually leaves his place only to run back ten seconds later so he doesn´t miss the timing on playing his part of the song.
this was my first concert ever and it was the absolute best! i remember going crazy whenever wait and bleed started playing. had an awesome time
Yesssss they play SIC again
We have been waiting for this energy and brutality for a long time.. this brings back the old and brutal slipknot..
Thank you for the upload.
I’ve been a fan of Slipknot since the beginning and never got to see them live. I’m seeing this next month, and this setlist feels like I’m getting a second chance to see them at the very start!!!
