I would like to share that when I consecrated myself to Our Blessed Mother Mary according to St Louis de Montforts book "True devotion to Mary" my entire life changed spiritually beyond anything I could have hoped for.....the rosary is THE MOST POWERFUL OF PRAYING.....MARY HAS LOVED AND HELPED ME BEYOND ANYTHING IVE TRIED TO ACHEIVE......
Currently I am "training" to pray the rosary. I think it was Father Mark Mary who proposed this. I pray a decade a day, but before I read the according Part of the Bible and afterwards I try to journal, or just copy out the quote, that speaks to me most at this time of life. I did this before and it takes the mechanical out of the rosary and makes it easier to really meditate on the mysteries. I assume that I will have to do this again in future times, because it is different than the last time I did it. 😅
About Pilgrimages: It doesn't have to be a Month long torturous hike through spain. A friend of mine who wouldn't be able to do this Said she longed to do a walking pilgrimage but she just wouldn't manage, because she had Santiago de Compostela in her mind. So we looked up local churches of Pilgrimage and found one were we would have to walk about 70 minutes through flat woods. We went to confession and We prayed a rosary together as we were walking and we took all the time she needed. It's not a race or a competition of who walked hardest.
I did, and I agree with you ;-) but not everyone is able to. One shouldn't Refrain from doing a pilgrimage simply because one isn't physically able to do a big one.
Thank you, Fr Columba. I'm so grateful I found this platform.

I enjoyed the lecture of Father Columba. Prayer is my favorite form of adoration and meditation!
I have learned so much from Father Columba! He has a beautiful way of encouraging our faith. He ALWAYS makes me smile! Thank you and God Bless!

@@i.b.640 agreed. So blessed the Lord enabled my poor 57 year old body to do it. But yes, every day can be a Camino if you let it.
