Thank you for sharing! It is true that bamboo bridges often find it difficult to withstand flood waters. Building and maintaining a bridge in such conditions is a big challenge. Hopefully the new bridge will withstand all challenges from nature! 🌉💪

Ky might pay to get two more support beams put under bridge as what you have now is very springy and thoses beams might bend under the weight so put two more give it a bit more strength

1: Biến nó thành một cây cầu treo THỰC SỰ.
2: Sử dụng lan can để gia cố từng nhịp cầu.

(29:55) Those 3 pairs of bamboo posts are ideal as TEMPORARY supports for each span's center. Because they WILL disappear at the next flood.🤓
I see 2 ways to complete the bridge:🤔
1: Make it a REAL suspension bridge.
2: Use the railings to strengthen each span.
I can post the details of each method here if you are interested.🙂

1: Make sure that the OUTER ends of the spans at BOTH ends of the bridge (the end at the house side AND the end at the road side) are so well anchored IN THE GROUND that they can NOT be pulled up out of the ground by 8-10 men pulling up together at a single main support bar.
THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT STEP!
2: Now about the CENTER span.
A) Put a THICK 3m long metal bar on top of each cement post.
B) Make a pair of diagonal cross-braces at the top between each pair over the bridge deck. WELD them together, or use BOLTS (NOT screws or wire).
C) Run a STEEL cable from the CENTER of each OUTER span's main support bar (the bar under the bridge deck) up to the TOP of the metal post on that side of the center span and anchor it there.
D) Then run another STEEL cable from there down to the center of the CENTER span's main support bar.
E) NOW pull each of the 8 cables GRADUALLY so tight that the CENTER span's main support bars are lifted completely free of those temporary bamboo posts standing in the water. This should also lift both OUTER span's main support bars up off THEIR temporary bamboo posts.
F) You can now, FINALLY, remove all 6 temporary bamboo posts.
Notes:
1) You can of course do step (B) before step (A), and THEN place BOTH constructions on each pair of cement posts.
2) Also make diagonal cross-braces at the top of each pair of cement posts, right under the bridge deck. If you do Note 1, then you can do this at the same time.
3) Make sure that the cables go COMPLETELY AROUND the main support bars. NOT through holes in those bars. Such holes would SERIOUSLY WEAKEN the construction.
4) With "GRADUAL tightening" I mean tighten each cable a little, then the NEXT cable a little, and so on, for all 8 cables. THEN repeat the complete cycle. Keep repeating the cycle until those 6 temporary bamboo posts no longer support anything.
The construction using the RAILINGS to strengthen each span is easier, but involves MORE iron bars (but thinner and NO cables). I shall explain that in a different comment.
I am not translating this, but WILL translate any questions that you might have. Because I think that my knowledge of Vietnamese is much less than yours of English. 🙂 I totally agree that making a REAL suspension bridge is NOT easy and involves quite a bit of extra work. 😐

Hi again I saw when you were cutting the beams that they were hollow ok why not put a Bamboo pole though them that way might stop the springing and also give a bit more strength put nice firm poles in
