@@brighton_locksmith slowly but surely catching up. I'm waiting on the big reveal. I see the views for the video went through the roof so super excited 😆. Keep doing what you are doing but remember your number 1 and look after yourself Bud.👍👍 🌟 I'll soon be putting one of those star's next to your name the way your going 😆👏
Thanks Steve. Hope you are well buddy. Not long now!! I’m sending a couple of the tools out for testing next week then hopefully I’ll be ready to tell you all about it 😀
I had one of those Saracen gearboxes a few months ago. Same thing happened - literally fell out the frame in eleventy billion pieces!!! It was a mare though as it was a wooden frame window with two holes at either end so the gearbox had to sit in first then slide each rod in to the hole and fit them by feel only like a blind hooker in a sausage factory.
Hey Andy, So nice you were able to extract the broken key and save the lock. Those U-Locks are fairly good but expensive. Those Prolox looks nice (and great bitting). Is nice that you typically get 5 keys with your locks. The north america standard is two (but some knock offs give 3).
Hey Gumby. To be fair, it all depends on which brand of lock you buy will depend how many keys you get! It’s almost the more expensive, the less keys you get 🤷🏻♂️ A typical ‘Yale’ branded cylinder will only come with 2 keys! But a cheaper ‘Versa’ or ‘Prolox’ will come with 5!!
Those new euros and rim cylinders look very interesting. Great job on the window mechanism, must have been a right faff and half to get it out and back in again. Bet you thought you were on the, "It's a knockout" obstacle course 🤣. Looking forward to the reveal you little tease 🤣. Cheers Andy, awesome video as always.
Haha thanks as always Roy 🙏🏼 Yeah the window was a little bit of a pain but not too bad 😁 Not long to wait now my friend. Hopefully I’ll be able to reveal the new locksmith tool in the next week or 2 😁😁
Ah I wondered how that window mechanism worked, I went to one the other day that the rod was sticking out to much and I just run a grinder over the end. Next time I will know how to fix it properly. Cheers Andy.
Always enjoy your videos. Very interesting how different things are on your side of the pond. We have a couple of generic cylinder brands available to us in the US, some much better than others. The bad ones look good but have very poor machining tolerances, and are stupid easy to pick no matter what the bittings are, the good ones are pretty decent.
Thanks Dave. Much appreciated. Yes we work very differently over here! I’d like to get more into the re-pinning cylinders like I know you guys do a lot !! Thanks for watching buddy
Hahaha completely agree 🤣🤣 And when is 5 keys with a standard cylinder not enough?? 😁 Cleaner✅ Dog Walker✅ Gardener✅ Private Chef ✅ Me ✅ You only need 5 keys 😁😁
Hey Robert. They have anti drill protection and anti pick spool pins inside and a sacrificial point if someone attempted to snap the cylinder to make life difficult for anyone trying to manipulate the cylinder 👍🏼
The fact that you have a huge variety of skills makes credit too the trade
Ah thanks buddy. Very much appreciated 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Shh the new tool is coming and it's

Good work 👍
Interesting again.
Hahaha this is true Gareth 😂😂
Thanks for watching buddy 👍🏼🙏🏼

all parcels should come with candy instead of packing peanuts. What profile is the prolox, so you can cut extra when 5 is not enough
Hahaha completely agree 🤣🤣

You only need 5 keys 😁😁
Hi I know this is a silly question but, I only picked this video up tonight, is your new secret stainless steel product launched yet? Regards Chris
Hi Chris. Yes it was launched around 16 months ago. I’m not making it anymore!
Thanks for tuning in 🙏🏼
See them pro lock barrels how they advertise anti drill and anti pick is that true and is that a thing?lol
Hey Robert.

Where do you buy the Prolox from, direct or trade supplier?
I get them direct from Prolox buddy but you’ll need a trade account John 👍🏼
