I’m going to try Harare to Cape Town in my 2000 325i, wish me luck!
Good luck my friend!
With good service it will make it
The E46; a legendary BMW!
Great video man, enjoyed the video quality.
Pretty decent fuel consumption, the E46 is just one special car alongside the E39(in my opinion).
Haha I actually stay in that complex, here in JHB.
Last year (Jan 2020) I did a similar undertaking, from CT (Sea point) to Soweto. I had bought my second e46 M54B22. Simply a splendid experience. :-)
That long trip reminds me of the journeys that I made from California to Texas. Mine was a little over 21 hours with a 1994 Dodge Intrepid that had almost 200,000 miles (or about 321,900 kms) on the odometer. I did that 4 times. It was fun.
Side note: Your guy's roads seem to be in almost pretty damn good condition! I'm sure there are some exceptions, but still.
Thanks for watching, I love doing these road trip videos and yes our roads are pretty good which is why the toll road fees are fairly high
Nice, couple years back we made jhb to Harare in an e39 v8 540i. Nice journey
Nice video! I did a trip from my home in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Jacksonville, Florida in a 2002 BMW M3 with a super charger. Two day trip and I was able to get a good 155 MPH out of that car on some stretches of road. I sold it but I sure miss it. LOL
Your vlog is fucken awesome i just needed to see an older car like toyota tazz or conquest driving to Cape town
Nice vid bro. I just got an e39 540i. I want to do a road-trip from Eswatini to Capetown!!!
Beautiful content 🎉
I'm looking to go to a 320d from my E46 318i. Bought her from a scrap yard and built her to perfection in a year, but I want that extra bit of torque and that fuel economy now that I've learnt what I should look out for.
You've convinced me that diesel is the way to go on this car.
Im selling a 320d e 46 2002 model call or whatsapp me 0711112598, the car is non mover for now because the mechanic fail to fix the previous problem but almost everything is fine
320d for the win 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
I want to attempt this soon. Volvo S40 2.4
Really enjoyed the trip on my favorite car, E46.. Can you pls do 1 more vid on it.. Nice Trip
Thanks brother I really enjoed
great job guys....great trip. but i see your engine temperature on the dashboard is not working well, it should be running at working temperature, if it is displayed, half of the gauge, not one third
Inspiring
lovely trip,,,,,,,,😊😊
Love this 🙏
So you drove that distance in basically less than a day? No sleep break... Wow impressive 🙏
Thanks bro 😁😁😁
I aim to do Lusaka to Gaborone in my Toyota Chaser 1998 model
Your Rev counter is very high what bmw is this??
eish i love this car, please tell me what to expect if i get one and what engine do you recommend
At 8mins 10 seconds I would not follow a truck from behind while it is over taking another truck. You can end up in a accident.
Hey bro can you please tell me what song you used for the ending it was so good
@vroompaa you car was not coming up to temp, normally when the thermostat goes it fails in the open position. Was this the cause of your clutch issue due to cold temps in the gear box?
Hi.
No not at all because of the clutch
My thermostat just failed in the open position. I replaced it and now it runs great and gets up to temperature
nice
320d?
What fuel consumption do you get in town? Is 15l /100km normal for 318i in town?
15 does not seem right, we get 10 litres per 100 town driving, i never see 15.
@@vroompaa3333 thanks for the reply. What do you suggest i do?
Not sure bro but definitely have your car scanned with a proper diagnostic tool, there might be a hidden fault.
@@vroompaa3333 Thanks for the advice
Diesel or petrol?
Petrol N42
Should be a diesel
My 330 barely gets 9l per 100km doing 110. Ouch
