Can we please go back to the days whe players weren't treated like they are made of glass,Yamamoto pulled after 2 innings. The problem is simple the pitchers are given to much rest and are not being used enough, hitters are to much in the weight room for homers,get back to the basics

Yamamoto only pitched once in a week back when he was in NPB. They r just doing it so that he can adapt well.

@@michaelprokasky3866 the number of days is not the only thing you should be considering of when you think about Asian players. They played in a small country, their league and rest days are different, and their traveling hours are also different. He played in Orix Buffaloes (based in Osaka) and the team farthest apart to him is Nipponham Fighters (based in Hokkaido). The distance between those two cities is about 1600km which is similar to LA to Denver or Seattle, which local players would consider a relatively short road trip. The dodgers had a trip from LA to PIT to NYY to LA. Different country, different city, different culture and food, different system, etc., there is a reason why they are letting him pitch once in a week. Not only that but you have to bear in mind that the Dodgers will eventually deploy a 6 man rotation.

Different league, different players, pitch clock, different culture and food, etc., there are so many things that affect the players.
