A quick look at Georgia's largest city: Atlanta! New 60 second city premieres every Thursday right here! #shorts #atlanta #unitedstates #geogia #geography #cities #60secondcities
What about crime? It needs better passenger rail service besides Marta. Atlanta is the Black Capitol of America and it seems there has been much white flight to the suburbs. I was there once in August and enjoyed learning of the history and experiencing the humidity. Southern Rock was fantastic years ago.
I've been to Atlanta and I absolutely love it. I have friends there and there's always something to do. And as a testament, Atlanta United are my US football team. Love from London ❤
Haha. Blk fragility White men built Atlanta Nice try failure blk supremacists who can't even build steady households w fathers, nice neighborhoods and low crime
Not Atlanta. Atlanta doesn't deserve credit for anything. Metro Atlanta created a lot of good food and a TON of amazing music... but Atlanta is a shithole that has never birthed anything. Zaxby's? Statesboro. On the southeast coast. Migos? Chic-Fil-A? Northwest of Atlanta. The actual city of Atlanta is trash.
I had no idea CNN was based in Atlanta. I find it ironic that the most left wing media is based in such a conservative state while fox, the most right wing media is based in NYC, in a very liberal state. It seems like those locations should switch.
conservative and liberal don't really mean anything substantial anymore. both groups are played against each other on social issues while everyone is robbed blind by the corrupt oligarchy. the left is mentally ill, however, and they're the pawns of the oligarchy/technocrats/criminals. enlightened yet?
Me and my mom went from Columbus to Atlanta to get our cousins from the airport who were staying at our place for a few days. That’s what this reminds me of
@@hernanruiz6683 as someone who moved from Atlanta to Columbus, I agree their are many similarities. However, I felt like Atlanta has more things to do.
Atlanta sure is booming, but nowadays, it's going to decline. Also, didn't you know that Metro Atlanta have the most counties in accordance to the list of metropolitan statistical areas? The entire metropolitan area consists of a grand total of 29 counties.
It's only the busiest airport in the world because america is the air travel capital of the world. No other country of similar size has as much travel, although some micro nations are extremely busy for some reason. They cannot compare to the us. Where they have 3 cities with huge travel. Dallas, Denver and ATL. ATL is by far the busiest, but dallas only has like 15% less visitors. Look at the numbers, most of the travel is domestic.
Hi there, please consider doing Bristol, England as your next city as it’s got a unique history and is extremely different to other cities in England, it’s kind of like the San Francisco of England cultural wise but it’s history is very interesting with a massive harbour that isn’t used anymore but used to transport immigrants from the UK to the USA, Canada, Australia Etc
I remember a friend of mine said when the dumbest things about Atlanta. So it was a couple years ago because the most recent world series winner at the time was the Atlanta braves. I briefly talked about the Atlanta braves and then my friend was going boo and I was just asking him why and he said Trump and then I told him but Biden won Georgia and Atlanta was probably the main reason why. I don't like getting political but unfortunately that dumb conversation makes me think of this sometimes when I hear about Atlanta and I really wish it didn't. Especially since I don't like both Biden and Trump anyway
The state of Georgia lean conservative but barely. All of major cities not conservative. The state is only several seats from not being conservative. The state elected its first republican governor in 2004. The first in over over 150 years. The stste of Georgia has been Democratic state for most since its finding in 1732 by James Oglethorpe
I can assure you that you are making up stuff. You Luddite types from some backwoods area that hasn't seen growth since the '60s might be ashamed but most of us aren't ashamed of Atlanta.
No, it is in the foothills. Foothills do not mean in the mountains. Atlanta is in the Piedmont which literally in French means foot of the mountains. Meaning just by them. Atlanta's far northwestern suburbs are only thirty minutes to the mountains by Jasper.
Largest “northern” city🤔, it still is per dense urban capital being only 40 sq miles city limit packed with 470k ppl. It’s the 4th largest in urban density and ATL is #9. That determines how crowded it feels. Where as Jacksonville city limit is 900 sq miles and has 900k ppl but that’s at 900sq miles which is a lot of space but not dense, and a metro area of only a million. DC is only 80sq miles but has 700k ppl in it, that’s very dense, NY 400sq miles with over 9 million. ATL city limit 134sq miles with about 500k, that’s dense. However in metro msa populace you are correct Miami is at number 9 or 10 now.
Locals say it differently
