I can't tell enough how much fun I had while watching Munnabhai MBBS. I was still a student when I saw it in a packed, wildly cheering theater in Chennai. It was not a movie, it was an experience. I still remember how much we hooted and whistled for some of the scenes.

Munnabhai MBBS came when I was 10 years old.
Lage Raho Munnabhai came when I was 13 years old (the first film I sneaked out to watch it all alone)
3 Idiots came when I was 16 years old, I was still in school
PK came when I was 21 years old, in college.
Now, Sanju has come when I am in my 25th year, and now I am myself working in film crews.
Rajkumar Hirani films have defined my entire growing up stage.

The first thing which raju sir said about a filmmakers dream to make a movie is a universal truth.
I watched this interview again recently. Can't help but notice how beautiful this interview has come out. The incidents and anecdotes that Raju has shared throughout this interview are so insightful. Tells us so much about his craft. The fact that he walks to his actors requesting them for another take shows how sensitive this guy is.
I think since raju has an equation with Anupama this conversation almost seems like two friends chatting in their living rooms. Anupamas quality of work , interviews does benefit from having an already established equation with film people. Something that Rajeev has to work hard for. Nothing wrong with it but it's just an observation.

This interview let me knew who is RAJ KUMAR HIRANI, a down to earth and humble person who is a perfect director. Munna bhai MBBS could have been given only by him n so beautifully. We never get bored to watch it again. 😊
It was more interesting to watch Raju sir talking about the making of Munna Bhai MBBS than watching the actual film. Hats off to his dedication and his passion towards film making, very very few left in the film making industry who take film not just as a business but truly work on it to give a clean entertainment, people like Raju sir shows that if you have a passion towards film making then even today you can make a clean film which can be loved by all masses.
I wish I could personally meet him someday and give him jaadu ki jhappi and tell him Thank you so much for making films !! I just love and adore his work !!

I honestly think Munnabhai Mbbs is the best film rajkumar hirani has made so far as a director..he is undoubtedly one of the best directors we have in the industry..3 Idiots surely is amazing but for the emotional reason i'd rather put Munnabhai above 3 idiots..Munnabhai is A film that manage to touch a deep chord of my heart everytime i see it on tv...i love the scene when Munna gives a ''jadoo ki jhappi'' to the sweeper who was cleaning the floor of the hospital, each n everytime i watch the scene i end up crying.....N and ofcourse the ragging scene is hilarious.
Yeah. But I can't make difference this film with Lage Raho Munna Bhai. Especially the scence when Munna slapped Circuit and the way he made his apologize. Such a touchy moment! 💕
