I've worked at both Durango Springs and Pagosa Springs resorts and I'll admit, Durango was also my favorite. The work they did to renovate the area was incredible. I highly recommend them. Pagosa Springs is nice, but I'll admit, the staff could use better training in general. Overall, great locations to point out. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the story. It’s always fun to hear from people who have much more experience with a place than us. We hadn’t been to the Durango one before renovations.
I'm surprised you didn't mention the number 1 distinguishing factor! The Pagosa hot springs stink of sulfur that is almost impossible to wash out of swimsuits. That alone is a good reason to use the ones in Ouray, in our opinion.
The Pagosa Spring is very high in sulfur, and is also the deepest hot spring known in the entire world, at just over 1002 feet. Fun fact, the spring is actually even deeper than that, but nobody has bothered to measure any further.
Terry would absolutely love the hot springs - me, not so much! ;-) Beautiful views... I cannot wait to explore Colorado though - high on my list! Very informative video! Thanks for sharing! 💙Terry and Terri

Exactly the comparison I needed!

It’s an amazing state. Let us know if you have any questions about it. We live here and explored all over.
@@RVHomeschool Thank you! ;-)
@RVHomeschool have you stayed at Ridgway State Park- Pa Co Chu Puk in summer? We need full hookups but I keep reading about horrible mosquitoes
