To all talking about Maru being done, remember Serral looked very burned out last year same time. Took a small break and came back as dominant as ever
Not sure about that lmao serral dominated last year lol the meta rn is very zerg favoured and after losing IEM Katowice I just don't think he's in a mentally competitive state idk he's not playing at the same calibre he normally does.
I think he meant the couple years before. There were a few where Serral looked beaten, then came back with a vengeance.

Wild theory but hear me out... Hero's been going to F2-Anonymous (as in hi my name's Hero and I'm an F2-aholic... Hi Hero.... it's been 53 days since the last time I pressed, and it's been hard... but in a week I'll earn my 60-day F2 chip... I just gotta go day-to-day until then.... *applause*).
Okay anyways... so then he must've gotten an F2 sponsor who helped him take a screwdriver to his keyboard's F2 key as part of one of their steps... It explains everything! (Or he's just practiced hard and just stepped it up.... dunno, either fit.)

@@husman2368 quick trigger reflexes degrade much much more quickly with age than strength/flexibility/etc. That being said, 28 is the average peak of most athletes. don't know wut's up with him. depressed that he has to go to military maybe.

So tell me where is the scientific study (paper, thesis, etc) to prove your point regarding the degrade of reflex when you are getting older and what age exactly reflexes start degrading. I bet you can't answer this question because like everybody else, stating speculation or opinion without giving proofs.
@@alexCh-ln2gwmost of top wc3 players are 30+ years old, still they destroy everybody. badminton is the a sport that need high reflexes and speed and one of the player (Peter gate from Denmark) was getting better as the times goes on, he retired at age 39 and he was still top 10 when he retired. Age might affect the reflexes, but what age, from example that gave it is not age 28 or 39, it should be more than that when age or disease affect reflexes. However, we know one of the reason the decreasing of reflexes is not practicing, people who practice everyday would maintain their performance until they do don't have any motivation to continue.

nope, though if they shoot something above them the splash damage will still do its 40 damage to burrowed/invisible units in the normal area of effect. Turrets, scans and ravens are Terran's only detectors

It's when terras have many orbitals, around 10 if I'm correct, and are able to generate mules and scans almost infinitely
@@Wicoy To add to your point, I believe an "iron bank" starts when you have around 6-7 orbitals, but 10 is usually the "infinite mules and scans" amount.

In the game where maru wasnt spending his mules I think it might be possible that he was saving them up in order to drop them when he goes for the scv pull. If he drops them while fully saturated the mining is gonna be less efficient. but if he waits and drops them the moment he pulls the scvs he will mine more overall i think
No, SCVs don't get in the way of mules, the overall mining is the same, but later income is worse than early income. Even pros can forget things. Her0 is probably one of the more stressful players to play against.
Or if it was intentional, he might have worried about DTs.
One of hero s weaknesses seem to be his late game. If he gest ahead on the early and mid game, he will usually be fine, but he struggles to put pressure with late game toss. That is something that players like showtime and maxpax seem better at.
He had less chance to practice lategame, cause every terran except Maru dies to his early pressure. more like he doesnt need to practice lategame I guess.

Maru has just gotten lazy the past few months..... no way in hell he should have lost this match or got 3-0 by scarlett and so many others..... he obviously isnt in to SC2 anymore. the king has laid down his crown....

I'll go on record saying that I believe Maru is the most naturally gifted player to ever play SC2 but I don't think he has had the passion to win in the last two or three years.
Guess you're speaking as a person who doesn't follow GSL results for the last 2-3 years and doesn't watch Clem's best games.
@@yunfanfan9452 Maru has been playing SC2 for almost a decade now, what you see isn't "talent" anymore. I'd agree that Clem is better than Maru at the moment, but comparing their talent is hard.
