"Kad porastem bicu Kengur" is more like the daily activities, and "Munje!" is like the nightlife (precisely one night) of the Belgrade youth in the early 2000's. I'm from Macedonia, but those two movies were big here too, were something fresh after the war-related Serbian movies from the late 90's

Swear words are so weird in all English translations of our movies. In those that you watched, Rane, Lepa sela Lepo Gore and this one. I think in 90% cases it was translated wrong.

it’s very hard to translate ex-yugoslavian language (serbo-croatian) and when you do translate it loses its meaning The cultural differences also are very much opposite, in terms of politeness 🆚 upfront language
If you want to see who the Serbs are, you must watch the battle for Košare and the battle for Pastrik, but please, brother, do it for the Serbian people

As I say in part 1..More better to unerstand is "TOCKOVI", dark comedy with a great story: " Ppl, but, I am not a killer"!! 🤣 Killer is "smile face"..."Tedam mali gutali....otalo i tet....". Plot twist at the the end on Serbian way. 😂
