Quadeca live was great, he had a live band with him which was pretty amazing. I’ve only seen him perform his last two albums obviously, so I’m super excited to hear this new mixtape live if he tours for it. Especially since a song like guide dog would probably hit so much harder live.
@@Definitionofill92I‘d definitely recomend reading a summary on genius or sum before listening bc this is a concept album and understanding the meaning enhances the experience
I didn’t mean to haunt you is my favorite album but if you plan on listening to his whole discography I would probably start with his older stuff because he’s been getting exponentially better and it makes his old music age more
ts sounds like glazing atp but it's like the 5th time I leave a comment that your reactions are just amazing. so genuine and open-minded. the fact you enjoy new boldy but also something like this is just awesome
If you end up listening to his album “I didn’t mean to haunt you” I recommend having the lyrics up. The whole album is a story about a ghost watching his family move on without him. it makes things a little easier to understand with the lyrics
His sound is so unique he does a lot of things in his music which I don't hear from anyone else, which is funny and ironic because he used to make videos mimicking other rappers
Been a fan since I was really young, saw him live last year for the QQQ tour. Since that tour I think he's become an incredible performer. Before then he was still improving, but he's really really good on stage now, especially with a band, it always sounds great and he has great crowd control Also loved this video, this is the first of yours I've seen, subscribed. Love how you weren't huge on his rapping and then guess who plays lmao. Keep up the good work!
to answer your question about sampling, to my knowledge he really isn't known to sample much but he is known to outsource different people to play things like violinists and bassists, but he plays guitar and the rest is midi i believe
This popped up in my recommended feed and I was super surprised this channel didn’t have more subs. Great video! You should check out bon iver’s album 22, A million. I think you would appreciate the production on it
Thank you so much for watching! I’ve heard a lot of Bon Iver but never taken the time out to really dive into him. Definitely on my list of series to do
yo man great review! just wanted to recommend an album to you, called Prayers and Paranoia by Sipho. Very cinematic album, would love to hear your thoughts
Really enjoy this reaction! I come back to it often. Dk if you saw but Quad made a video compiling the Scrapyard vinyl exclusive tracks ua-cam.com/video/RtPLWQvShcw/v-deo.htmlsi=Qw2LThpN3naJ3UTJ if thats something you wanna check out at some point even if its just in your own time 😀
I love how he thought brakence was two people lol
The Spotify profile tricked me 🤣
I think what makes Quadeca such a great artist is that he has such a focused vision when combining his production and vocals
Agreed! He’s very talented

Oh a live band actually sounds cool and it fits his sound!
love how you add commentary, lotta reaction youtubers just go “that was cool” and nothing else, the extra commentary makes it way more engaging
Thank you!!! 🙏🏾
the growth of quadeca since 2019 is insane.
Definitely have to react to I didn’t mean to haunt you

yeah man, he is extremely talented and I can't recommend I Didn't mean to Haunt you enough. Liked and subbed btw I fw you @@Definitionofill92
he also plays piano/keys!!
Taken from the Danny Brown stream, but Quad samples a good amount, it’s just very obscure, lots of Bossa Nova samples.
Loved your reaction… surprised you were under 1k, keep going!!

You should definitely react to his previous album I didn’t mean to haunt you, it is way more complete then this mixtape was
Will do 👌🏾
I describe quadeca as the Beatles if they reincarnated as a SoundCloud rapper
bad comparison
bruh what do you mean, whats it to him sounds just like a beatles song, and born yesterday has a beatles sample@@Itsvirt2004
@@Itsvirt2004 p-p-p-perfect combo x5

I don’t understand this comparison even a little bit lol
