I was there for this, I was also at Madison Square Garden in 2016 when Radiohead performed Let Down for the first time in a decade, saw them perform it in ‘98 on the Ok Computer tour. There are many things in my life I’m very thankful for - all of the times I’ve heard Thom sing my favourite Radiohead song live is definitely one of them. I feel blessed.
This man has brought so much beauty into the world. It’s great to see him taking a moment to reflect and enjoy his accomplishments with an intimate show like this. When a song as big, loud, and packed with emotion as Let Down can be stripped back to just a man and a guitar-and still sound just as beautiful and powerful-you know it’s a perfect song. This confirms for me that Let Down is the best song on OK Computer and Thom is one of our best artists.
OMG this is a first, never seen this done solo, one of my faves and he did it so beautifully, thank you Thom for this masterpiece and thank you so much for uploading
Part of me wished I’d video’d some of this song, as the visuals as well as his voice were mesmerising… but I was too caught up in the sublime beauty of it all. So thank you so much for putting this video up :)
There is a common misconception with Thom and Radiohead in general. The reality is, sometimes we NEED to cry. We are human and emotional expression is so important for stability. This kind of art is just a beautifully crafted tool to aid us with that. What a stellar version. Thanks Thom, I needed this today.
Thank you so much! I was at the chch one... super grateful of course. But this, this is 'my ' song, so thanks so much for sharing, i can imagine what it was like to be under the same roof here... and teeeeears a flowing. So so beautiful, thank you.
It was pretty amazing. But you guys got Dawn Chorus, Daydreaming, Karma Police, How to Disappear etc etc. Incredibly different setlists. Can’t wait to see what he pulls out tonight.

i hope this geniiiius will accept a video recorrrrding of some sort, so we can purrty pleaaaaase acknowledge at least a bit of this for posterity, purrty plz
Lucky ( no pun intended) enough to have seen these songs from around the time they were written. Thoms voice although great for his age is nowhere as good as it was twenty years ago.
For those wondering, yes he goes for the big held note on “And one daaaay” and nails it big
He sure does ❤🥲
Thoms voice has been crazy good for this intimate tour.
Im not there yet but damn its good to know in advance. Best song of all time.
lol I was sitting here singing the background vox for that part, so good
Haha brilliant
This is stunningly beautiful. Just wow.

Same. 😢❤
same❤😢
One of the greatest songs ever written and what an amazing version!
I was caught off guard by this song. I had tears and I had to stop myself from going to a full sob! It was so beautiful. Amazing experience.
Listening these acoustic gems is like going back 25-30 years in time to early live Radiohead recordings. Timeless treasures to be found ❤

Thanks for posting! I was there and it was so nice just now to relive this moment. Gorgeous lump in throat stuff
Oh my god, he still sounds this good? Thom is something else. Such an underrated guitarist too
Sweet Jeebus, that is stunning. Absolutely incredible
I have not heard a better live version of this song from Thom....it's up there . The singing is amazing.
‘And one daaay’ is some of the best vocal work I’ve seen from Thom in a long time.
He can still hit those high notes
Gracias, llore y me hizo bien
2:20 the guitar work is amazing. He lovingly reapproached all these songs
I actually have the opposite opinion... Didn't he kinda screw up right after your timestamp? It's all good though.
@@bann13 still was really good.
Fine, 2:26
this runs deep and beautiful... and the visuals, such great art...

Outstanding 😍
I was so excited to hear how he played this song when I saw it on the set list. Beautiful rendition of a whole band song as a solo performance!
Wondered the same.❤
Glad to hear let down again.
Wow. Been peeling onions here
A fine performance
My fave off ok computer x
Ever millisecond of this is sublime!❤❤❤❤
"(one day)... you'll know where you are"
Thank you for your sharing this video!
Very excited to see him next month❤
Holy fuck this is stunning
The Melbourne show on Tuesday was an absolute joy and (insert collective noun) of squidginess. Top 5 show for me, and I’ve seen a few.
THE MAN IS A FUCKIN GENIUS
Thank you for uploading this, my very favorite song ever. 🙏🏻❤️
my favorite song of theirs. They never play it.
yes Thom
There is no version anywhere where his vocals during 3:37-3:50 sound more beautiful. Unearthly💗
Possibly last night’s performance ❤️
I stand corrected. Thanks for the recommendation 💗
so beautiful
Legends
Thanks 🙏🏻

Feels like a very interesting and different take on it for the solo version, cool song
One day, I am gonna grow wings
Man I'm so jealous of these people
So beautiful ❤️🔥
Underrated
My mother passed away on the 31st of October 😭

That’s soo good! But I miss Radiohead 😢
One day, i am gonna grow a pair of wing so that i can fly far away from this earth and find my own freedom.
I sure would love Thom to write a few more conventionally structured songs like this before he finishes his career.
This is too much to take. Thanks anyways❤
:)
about that beer i owe ya
THIS IS LITERALLY THE FIRST TIME LET DOWN HAS BEEN PLAYED SOLO????????
Hopefully this is a hint to Radiohead’s comeback 🥲
omg i fking love this song
