Thank you for watching and I definitely understand! The original version is still awesome and not sure I’ll ever be able to part with it, but if that changes I’ll definitely circle back around :)
That does seem like a sweet little backpack to throw in another bag and use for simple day trips or day hikes from your main trip. Thanks for sharing. If they added just a few little internal organization stash pockets and/or zip pockets on front (including one towards top for quick access to sunglasses etc) that could be a decent, super lightweight EDC too.
I don't get why so many of these packable backpacks don't put a inside zippered pocket so one could keep personal items safe. Mystery Ranch also has a In & out Backpack which folds up pretty small.
To achieve the weight goals of this bag (1 lb), we have to keep pockets and organization super minimal. Our customers tend to prefer quick access external pockets or interior "security" pockets.
@@TortugaBackpacks seriously a few grams ? A quick access pocket is great but it provides no security. I’m sure 99% of customers would sacrifice 20-30 grams. It won’t make a difference when folding or packing it up. Also after 5-6 years are you shipping international yet?
@@skipper4114 agreed. This bag lost my interest as soon as I realised it only had a single dump pocket. Another couple of pockets would've made this bag so much more interesting.
Thanks for the nice review. I agree, this has great features & good compromises considering it only weighs 1 pound..
Thanks, Dr. John!
Thank you for watching and I’m glad the video was helpful! The weight on this one is definitely nice!
I think the AER Go pack 2 has features that make it more versatile than the Tortuga - the added organization and the luggage pass-thru.
Thank you for watching! Aer go pack 2 is definitely an excellent alternative!
Looks like a great new version! If you ever want to part ways with the old Outbreaker daypack, I’d be a buyer! Had one ages ago and miss it 😂

Thanks for the review. I think this is very similar to the Tortuga packable backpack. I think this one’s gonna be a winner.
Thank you for watching! Definitely a big fan of this one so far, super versatile!
Thanks for the review, Danny!
Thank you for watching and awesome job on the Daypack!🎉
Love the info. Always appreciate your videos.
Thank you for watching and for the support!:)

@@ggtv89 well said.
Wich one is more packable between daybraker 2 and this one?. Great video!!
Thank you for watching and I would say this one is more packable!:)
Seems like Tortuga is finally realizing their bags are too heavy.
Thank you for watching! Definitely great to see a lightweight option!
