I listen a lot to ex military pods and l have to say the host has the perfect balance of asking questions, letting the guest speak and then adding insight where appropriate. A lot of hosts cut off the guests or make it about them. Congratulations.
So love this channel and cast, love the Britishness and the more casual and easy-going approach etc. The now old-school of the British military and how it worked and then getting into Andy’s bigger experiences outside of the regiment - brilliant!
When we secured the entrance of the cave at Tora Bora, our radio was F****, a little while later some guys came up and went in to clear the cave and I went with them. At some point we were hand to hand with some bad guys, this big guy was on top of me with a knife, and I thought my time was up. Out of the blue I heard a thump and the guy fell over dead, and a guy stood there with his hand out to help me up to my feet. Cheers Andy, hope you dont mind me putting this out there.
At Junior Leaders RAC bovington. you had to pass a level of education at the recruiting office to be accepted, education continued at JLR guys passed the level required for the rank of Sgt or higher. Some were also selected for Potential Officers.
My problem is the lies start at "Borsal", then stephen lies throughout. Why, I've never understood. If he spoke the truth about his career, it's to be proud of! Lying about not being able to clean his teeth is a lie! Bloke lies throughout. Why? He made it and now belittles it!

He gets me inspired.
I guess you too have served in HMF and SF for the same amount of years.
@@BlutoandCo No.
Just don't listen to it. Pretty simple solution really.
@@MartinT5600 I loved it.
@Ronin-b9h?? the questions he asks Mcnab are great.
I'll have to wait for the English translation - lol
So what really happened "Andy" ?

@Ronin-b9h Don't believe the Bravo Two Zero lies. It's a good novel. Very little fact in it. Legs for sure never should of died!
The good thing is that his Regimental Association will still look after his welfare even though he is persona non grata due to his loose lips........
The irony of it all being that he lied about B2Z. 😂
But he got rich off the books, so the liar has a comfortable retirement.
