She brought tears to my eyes 😢 if Labour can’t listen to that emotional message then they are NOT a people’s government!!! We stopped the Poll Tax, we can stop this too ❤
Great update Andrew. The Waffle was in no way boring you mustn't apologise for showing as many aspects of agriculture as possible. You are doing a great job I hope the farmers win.❤
Andrew that young girl who gave a speech at Melton Mowbray what an inspiration she is for the future of British farming we as a country must ensure that we all ensure she can fulfill her dream her speech brought a lump to my throat and at 77 years old it takes a lot to do that. Wishing you and all farmers all the best against this evil government.
Andrew - Jess Sharp was the girl who spoke. She was excellent - I hope she gets asked to speak again. Her parents are friends of mine from my Melton YFC days.
A very honest and passionate speech; very good to hear from the generation this tax will most impact. A far more sensible approach having the public listen to this young lady, rather than amateur multi millionaire farmers dressed up like Worzel Gummidge...
Jess was fluent and amazing! Hopefully she gets to speak again at future rallies. She should have a face to face meeting with government ministers. Her generation needs to be heard.
Evening Andrew, well done on your coverage of the Farmers rallies. Hopefully the government will realise how important this is. Keep up the good work, anyone who values our country will continue to support your efforts, thanks Andrew and looking forward to Sundays update.
Tom Lamb, he's a farmer lol What an inspirational young speaker, very passionate speech That poem was FABULOUS, hit the nail on the head there, not just farms and farmer's but all the associated businesses I hope the government's actions match their word's, but i fear they say what they hope you want to hear, Starmer 13 months ago backing farmers, and completely ignore the devastation and carry on destroying the businesses of this country Back UK farmer's 🇬🇧 What an amazing sight, all those tractors, watched Eleanor Berkshire Farm Girl's live, driving into London and the amount of support shown from the footpaths and other traffic Public opinion seems to be getting behind our farmer's Thanks Andrew, keep up the fight Take care all Geoff
Well done Andrew and Rhonda for all the hard work you have done the last few weeks, and well done GB news for the coveridge of the protest, i listened to you on GB news radio with Martin while i was at work Andrew, no mention on the BBC or ITV, shame on them. Back British food, Back British farming!
We import 50% of our food so you won’t starve, if the farmers mess us about we will soon be importing the rest of it and then there will be no going back for the farmers, same thing happened to the miners in the eighties and the farmers didn’t give a shit.
There is no need to apologize Andrew you and thee others are doing a great job, the young girl was brilliant doing her speech. The landlady nailed it with her poem, was good to see Tom and Emily on camera a great couple. I am 100% behind you , we must stand together and keep going to prove that we won't be pushed around by this government. Its a disgrace the train drivers want more money.
A great video as always. This is not boring. That young lady was brilliant. Gives one hope for the future. Poor Henry. I used to do work for the EA glad I don't anymore. They are not fit for purpose!!!!!!!
Brilliant update Wardy. Keep the pressure on Liebour, they cannot be allowed to wreck farming or any business for that matter. Make it a miserable Xmas for Liar Starmer and his ridiculous Chancellor.
What a video Andrew! Thank you for coming through to Melton, labelled as "The Rural Capital of Food". You MUST visit The Crown & Plough in Long Clawson, my nextdoor village. What a poem eh? Sums up rural ag in this area with dairy farmers and stilton cheese in Vale of Belvoir. The coverage of the tractors in London was superb. Together we stand..... 👍👍#NoFarmersNoFood
Hi Andrew I thought the talk on the trailer buy that girl was amazing !! You are doing a great job Andrew with olly and Martin and the others, and now the the public are on board with all us farmers.!!
Well done and well said all "To Save Our Land" The earth beneath our feet, it calls, A sacred bond that never falls. Yet councils, with their measured hand, Seek to take away our land. The soil, the trees, the skies above, Our heritage, our roots, our love, Cannot be sold, nor torn apart, For in this land beats every heart. They come with papers, claims, and might, But we stand firm to guard the right. For land is not just land to own, It’s history, life, a sacred throne. We'll fight with voices loud and clear, Protect the earth, protect what's dear. With unity and courage strong, We’ll defend the land, where we belong. Let councils see, let governments know, This land is ours; it will not go. For in the soil, in every grain, Is the power to break every chain. We rise, we stand, we shall remain, To save our land, to break the chain.
Brilliant update Andrew what a magnificent sight all those tractors in London Andrew your a very busy man and it’s very good of you to give your time to help British Farmers try to get the Government to change there mind on this latest tax they’ve dreamed up I think London wonders what hit it But it was very well organised no trouble and everything went well Great video Andrew
Probably the first time a lot of Londoners have seen a tractor in real life including a lot of so called MP`s one sad fact 20/30 yrs ago the tractors would have carried made in Grt Briton proudly
What a speech that young girl gave! Spirited and passionate! She is the absolute reason the government needs to pull their heads from their backsides and see it from the future generation of farmers in this country. Starmer and Reeves are out of their depth with this! The whole country is behind farmers and the countryside, they see how unfair this budget is and the damage it shall cause. What a wonderful poem by Jo, emotionally charged! Every time Starmer and Reeves are on the TV they make my blood boil! Thank you for all the hard work you are doing Andrew along with the other farmers up and down the country. Also an update on my ankle, I'm up and about walking away with crutches and allowed to drive since my ankle surgery in September.
Great update, made even better by the fact that was accompanied by some Cope Seeds branded Fen-Tastic ale… I was invited to take a can home from the anniversary event at the weekend. Best ale I’ve ever tasted, absolutely wonderful! Young lady and vicar at the Melton event were brilliant, she spoke very well. Ha! Tom and Emily, get a room! 😂😂😂 Tractor rally looked brilliant too…
Hi Andrew a great video hopefully your wheat will be ok after all the rain we have had, I myself worked in farming for around 30 years on arable farms so I know full well all the hard work that goes into the industry, even thought I did not own the land I looved the job. The young girl who spole at the rally was amazing and great to see so much pasion for farming from the next generation so I do hope the UK government will re consider there stance regarding inheritance tax, the demonstration in London was very ordaly and I feel the vast majority of the general public are behind the farmers and will continue to support them Andrew, you yourself I know is putting a tremendous effort into this so thank you, if the government get there way we shall all be paying a lot more for even more imported food produce.
Thanks as ever for your update Andrew . I find it so hard to believe this government !!!!!!!!!! They seem to be bent over so far with their heads in the sand BUT that is going to get them bit in their arsenal I would say. All the very best to you all. Rob.
I nearly went back to comment on last Sunday's video after seeing there was a flood warning for Short Ferry and Coningsby to ask for an update on Henry's farm but knew you had a busy week planned once again.
The MP's resolve will be as soft as their hands if their constituents really turn on them. Unjust taxation & hunger do not make for peaceful civil harmony nor any likelihood of reelection.
Please don't apologize for lack of farming content. If this doesn't get resolved the farming content becomes irrelevant. Amazing what militant action can achieve for train drivers, wonder what it can do for farmers when the shelves are all empty........?
Well done to the organisers of this magnificent event. But unfortunately until there is mass demonstrations by the general public demanding food on there tables this government will not retract I H T
Its great to see the pub land lady supporting farmers, they work hard to keep rural pubs open, like farming theres long hours for little profit and its awfull to see so many village pubs closed, iv never been pheasant shooting in my life ,it would never be my kind of thing, but ihave some freinds who are gamekeepers, it fetches a huge amount of money and employment into the countyside at a time of year when the countryside is dead, it gets people in the rural pubs for meals and drinks and guest rooms in mid winter when the tourists are tucked up at home, there had been little or no grouse shooting in scotland this year and they say the pubs and hotels are on there knees up there this year
Please don’t apologise Andrew for the content, surly you know that you and what you get up to in your life is the reason we watch the videos. There’s lots of other farming UA-camrs but your the reason we’re here. This government is a disgrace, Gareth wyn Jones sums it up well. We can’t let these bastards win! Amazing to see all those tractors in London. That must of been some site. Proud to be a farmer when you see the level support. What a wonderful woman the pub owner was. She hit the nail on the head with her poem. Looking forward to Sundays video 👍 Cheers Irwin
great vid, keep up the good work all of you,I see that the bbc don't have any coverage about your rallies, maybe the goverment should stop their funding and put it towards the nhs, just a thought
I enjoyed that poem, so true. Good Video Andrew, no surprise about flooding on Henry,s Land, when will EA get real and something about it! Must be so frustrating. Don’t apologise for content, it’s all vital stuff. Train drivers not happy, what a surprise 😂
Cracking update again Mr Ward. Love that sign dad toolmaker, son LIAR well his dad was certainly a tool maker because be made one there 😂😂 plus it’s funny how the BBC are still saying you only 10 thousand protesters at the last rally when there was more like 40thousand. Keep up the good work.
Train drivers earning 70k!?! What the actual f**k! What the hell do they even do!?!?! That is absolutely incredible!!! If they were saving goddam lives I could understand it, but calling them a glorified taxi driver would be doing taxis and injustice! That has seriously shocked me! Why don't labour tax them and leave the farmers alone for once!?!
No need to worry about the Train Drivers strike Andrew, Starmer and Reeves will soon cave in and give 'em what they ask for. As for the Farmers and their wholly justified need to reverse the inheritance tax debacle, that will continue to be ignored - unless "you" step up your actions! You, rightly, in the beginning, argued against the Tractors descending on Whitehall. Maybe it's time for the Farmers to go on strike - maybe just for a few days? The utter chaos that would cause with the major supermarkets and the obvious impact on consumers would soon have Starmer and Reeves back-pedalling. Sometimes you need to make a stand - and now's the time! Good fortunes to the whole farming community - and here's wishing you all a Merry Christmas! :-)
This government doesn’t understand the rural countryside some of these MPs have never done a decent day’s work in there life shows you when there is a welch mp with purple hair fast a sleep in the commons beer sleep from the cheap booze in the commons she’s been drinking as for revees and Starmer most disconnected to people to walk this planet
The government fully understands only too well the farmers position but is ruthlessly imposing this taxation and so the course of action has been set for those resisting ,interested in the coming update on flooding again.
Farmers are trying to take a civilised & reasonable approach. Politicians will regret it if they force rural people to fight for their families' futures more literally. most politicians are not SAS-tough - many farmers are.
There will be no fighting on the streets like the Miners ,who had no kit , The heart of this country is the land and its people,if tractors can travel to London ,they can defend rural life ,bold and brave ,or lose all you’ve known, I’ve written to my mp twice, heard nothing and I don’t even have a farm! If you want on an early morning to see a covey of grey partridge by a hedgerow feeding and asking nothing of you ,if you want to have a life that has some meaning, if you want to provide the food for your counrty ,then draw the line.
Where’s the support from the grain merchants. They have been importing grain into the Uk by more than 2 million tonnes from countries with lower standards than ours. Back British farming. The cheapest always wins.
Good update Andrew,no need to apologise because let's be honest Apr and bpr are the only game in town right now ,must say in relation to rallies in London don't it wise for some of the speakers to call to government bastard's and call it a war ,even though they are right I don't think it's a good idea to declare war on a government who whether we like it or not they are the ones on power right now and ultimately who we have to get to the negotiation table ! On a lighter note I don't think you and your fellow organisers are going to bein the new year's honours list this year 🤣
@@WardysWaffleAndrewWard its all over you tube im sure you can find it your self. also a Angry farmers clash with pro-EU protesters swearing at them so thats a good advert for farmers. since when did tractors come out with air horns on them making loads of noise but farmer are hard up yet waste money on lights horns etc
How on earth do they afford those tractors and fuel and having days off work? I wish I could have days off work and travel to London and stay in a Hotel over night, not to mention 300 acres and a £100,000 tractor, I work in an Amazon warehouse in Doncaster and can’t afford a half day off to see my Daghter in a pantomime at school, I would love to have to worry about paying tax on 3 million in fifty years time or even a years time.
We need tractors to produce your food. They are all on finance or leased and usually the manufacturers subsidise the finance by paying the interest, that’s the only way we can afford them and you say £100k for a tractor, try £250k and the tracked John Deere we have is £400k. Arable farmers can spare the time now because the crops are planted and growing and don’t need anything doing to them over winter, until Feb/March and if they are not planted, it’s too wet to get on the fields. Some Livestock farmers were there because it’s such an important thing to protest about. The future of a lot of businesses depend on this. 300 acres is not a viable farm now, the profits from that would put you on or below minimum wage due to the costs of growing food and machinery above which we can’t do without. Also worth pointing out, are you working for the same £’s as 20 years ago? We are selling our crops for the same £ as then but with todays costs. A tractor in 1990 was about £35K with wheat the same price as today. Thats the big issue. Food is too cheap on the shelf. Uk food is the third cheapest in the world but our costs in producing it are amongst the highest in the world due to the regulations we have to follow. You’re only at Doncaster, I’m near Newark, if you fancy coming to the farm, I’ll show you the issues and all we do for wildlife and the environment.
@ Well I can’t understand why you don’t embrace Labours changes, it will mean cheaper land that’s only good for farming. I’m working the job I am now, I certainly won’t do it for four generations and moan about how crap the wage is, I suggest you come and work with me ( your only down the road ) and earn a decent wage, it’s a better wage since Labour brought in the minimum wage and compulsory holiday pay, maybe you could get your children working here so they don’t have to follow a life of debt and slavery like your experiencing? Don’t worry about nature, it will look after itself, even more so without chemicals and being ploughed up. It’s all good you see. I will gladly come to your farm and see the poverty you are living in, you can have my house and moped and I will have your house, I may struggle but I’m sure I will manage, what vehicle are you driving at the moment? Has your wife got a vehicle as well?
I’m not married. It won’t mean cheaper land. British Airways bought 1,000 acres near Gainsborough for offsetting their carbon and paid a fortune. No food grown on that ever again. I gave you a polite, informative reply, you come back with sarcasm. Why do I spend 5 hours a week doing things for wildlife and nature if looked after itself? You’re another one that doesn’t understand farming, food and how it’s passed on from one generation to the next and it’s a way of life, I do t want to be shut up in a shed. My children don’t want to work in a warehouse either, they are outside visiting farms selling seed and fertiliser which helps to give you cheap food, the third cheapest food in the world. I suggest you remove that chip off your shoulder, open your eyes and look into the fields when you ride your moped and read up on how we produce your food. Good bye.
I thing I owe you an apology being a labour supporter and a union member I am no longer a labour supporter and did not vote for them this time and I have stopped my union payment as I can not let any of my union dues go to support supporter a government that is killing the country that I live in you have my support it might not be much but it's all I can do for now sorry
You have enough bravery to admit a mistake & make amends. S/he who makes no mistakes makes nothing. It is on how we apologise & atone for our errors that we should be judged. I voted for Brexit - how that error can be put right I have yet to see. Having pushed his government into a series of deep holes Starmer seems determined they & we all drown rather than alter his plan.
You provide your own answer in the last few seconds of this video. The most militant people in the UK get the most resources AKA pay. I cannot understand how it can be so hard to drive a train. There is only one variable and that is the speed. You would have thought in 2024 that could all be controlled digitally. If you can map a field to the mm to farm why not a train track? Farmers must be the most polite group of people I have ever seen protest. The Government will only cave in to genuine pressure, not the incredible politeness of farmers.
How do farmers have the time and money for these days out in London in the middle if the week!? Spare a thought for the people who actually have to work who get stuck in the gridlock you cause! Those people need to pay for your subsidies and grants and what's left pay way more in IHT than farmers!
Please don't be silly: were your family's future at risk you'd find the time to fight this stupid government. Anyway look at a calendar: December = too late for drilling winter crops, far too soon for spring-sown ones. Dairy & other stock farmers either have brothers, adult children, cousins or staff to cover for them or they are not in these crowds. Be thankful for that as they are the men with the slurry tankers, the muck spreaders & the knowledge of how to use them. Middle of the week makes no difference: farming is a 24X365/366 job. Stuck in grid-lock... oh dear... try hunger - the alternative this government is offering you.
Plus thank you for all the youtube people i follow like yourself etc i had a farm i no longer have anything . I would fight like yourselfs but i dont have anything to fight for except my life i wish i could help in a way but i carnt say i keep sending poems to you all hopefully for inspiration and hope and feeling thank you all time has gone for me now but thank you

"To Save Our Land"

A sacred bond that never falls.

28 days with no bread, milk and eggs in the supermarkets might get the Starmer regime's attention...
This weak-minded 'government' need drivers for their gravy-trains.
I bet that’s one tool he’s not proud of making
🤣🤣🤣👏
The government fully understands only too well the farmers position but is ruthlessly imposing this taxation and so the course of action has been set for those resisting ,interested in the coming update on flooding again.
Farmers are trying to take a civilised & reasonable approach. Politicians will regret it if they force rural people to fight for their families' futures more literally. most politicians are not SAS-tough - many farmers are.
There will be no fighting on the streets like the Miners ,who had no kit ,
The heart of this country is the land and its people,if tractors can travel to London ,they can defend rural life ,bold and brave ,or lose all you’ve known,
I’ve written to my mp twice, heard nothing and I don’t even have a farm!
If you want on an early morning to see a covey of grey partridge by a hedgerow feeding and asking nothing of you ,if you want to have a life that has some meaning, if you want to provide the food for your counrty ,then draw the line.
We will defend it, I can guarantee that.
On a lighter note I don't think you and your fellow organisers are going to bein the new year's honours list this year 🤣
Train drivers!! It’s a spis take 👎👎👎
Cheers mate👍👍👍
Think that's a train driver !!!!
what about the youtuber who got arrested
Who?
@@WardysWaffleAndrewWard its all over you tube im sure you can find it your self. also a Angry farmers clash with pro-EU protesters swearing at them so thats a good advert for farmers. since when did tractors come out with air horns on them making loads of noise but farmer are hard up yet waste money on lights horns etc
No you tuber got arrested. Stop shit stirring.
Makes my blood boil. Train drivers easy money. There are so many safety measures that the train could just about drive itself
Dont apologies, andrew its ower cause to get this country sorted we are the back bone of this country without us there nothing

I would fight like yourselfs but i dont have anything to fight for except my life i wish i could help in a way but i carnt say i keep sending poems to you all hopefully for inspiration and hope and feeling thank you all time has gone for me now but thank you
Its spine tickerling at the same time so sad
