- Here is a preview of this years Long range hunting season. With spring bear over and Bobs draw tag filled thought i would post a preview of this years hunts so far. All animals in this video were harvested with a 338 Edge and 300 grain Berger bullets. Stay tuned with a couple Moose tags and lots of deer elk and antelope tags lots more video to come.

I have a custom-built 338 Edge shooting the 270 grain Hornady eld-x it's an absolute hammer iv messed with the 300 grain Berger a bit but i find the 250 berger and the 270 eldx have a bit more "effect"/shock under 1000 yards i shot 2 bears last year with it with the 270s and it was instant lights out. Gonna use it this year for elk and moose and keep my 28 nosler for back up

hey man, i know you posted this vid a while back, but if you could give me some more info that would be super awesome.
would you recommend using the bergers on the large game? everything i find online is like people using 130 grains for whitetail. Alaska doesn't have little critters like that just perusing the forest, so im worried about what the bullet would do. did you guys get exit wounds? if so, how big were they? what did the organs look like? did the bullet do its job? would you recommend different bullets in hind sight?

Horrible shot on the 1st bear. That 338 should be a killer no matter the species, just have to make the shot.
Learn how to hunt/stalk ... then you will be able to get closer to you target.
