Those are remarkable shots. Excellent spotter also, to be able to call out that accurately for drift and wind is insane. Excellent video, I hope to be as good as you guys some day. My goal is under a minute at 1000 with .308 168 gr Sierra's
Nice shooting, you guys did really well! I would be interested in what bullet you are using. I assume you are shooting far beyond the transonic barrier. Are you having any issues with the bullet tumbling in flight? I have a 338 that I am shooting at long ranges and my Nosler AccuBond bullets keep tumbling. Do you have any tips on how to shoot past the transonic range that causes bullet tumbling? Or do you have a recomended bullet that is able to retain its stability? Thanks.
thermal lift? lol. high angle shots require compensation whether fired uphill or downhill. gravity only exerts its influence on the bullet for the flat ground distance traveled, which in this case will be shorter than the line of sight distance. different types of rounds will require different cosigns for quick calculation.
Over 3,000 meter's is long range, sure over 2,000 meter's is long range, but it's with-in the guns capabilities & not going over it's capabilities which is real shooting ?
+7071t6 shooting is shooting All you do is aim and fire... With this you calculate your shot indepth to meet the target on point. sure it's just advanced shooting
Alex Tucker Well said. but at the same time if you look at the Australian shooting over 2 miles re: .338 & a hit at that range, shows you how with the right tools & advanced shooting with the right guns & ammo, you could kill a person at over 1.5 miles away.:)
I really enjoy watching this for the reason that I am amazed about the precision of the shot at that distance.
