German is subtlety difficult but I’m Welsh so
Words like trochter are the same the “ch” being a CRCHHHHH sound

Sorry, but that poem it could´t be written in 1815. Schiller died in 1805. Greetings from Mexico

You are totally right! The poem was written in 1785. However there were some revisions he made himself to the poem, which was then republished posthumously. But as you said the first version was published in 1785! Thanks for your message :)
