Sir the way you explained P- and S waves.... Even NCERT and our school teachers had not presented in such a beautiful and lovely way.... U just nailed it in span of seconds.... INDIA need more educators like you... Go Ahead sir... Waiting for more lectures from you :)
I was reading NCERT 11th Geography but due to lack of graphical representation there i came here(UA-cam) searching the topic and found Amit Sir's video..and this is the same content from NCERT but with a nice representation.. Thanks for clearing the concept Amit Sir !! 🙏
Really amazing and clear cut explanations sir, If all the teacher in our country be like u in their own field, our country will easily eradicate the poverty and illiteracy.... Thanks a lot sir... 1 good teacher = 1000 gods with us...
Dr. Keith Miller's demonstration was pretty good. Thank you so for putting the Link in the description. I must show this demonstration to my future students 🙏
Respect sir Its my humble request that you plzz plzzz make a separate video covering all the contents of G C LEONG(GEOGRAPHY). PLEASE sir it will help me and all of us. Thank you and all the best
Now let's get to the point where you can find a new place to stay in the car for a while now and I am the one by dj Khalid of the time in the past and I was wondering if you could send me a copy of the paper to the top of the page
I Always satisfied with you sir and your explanation is best. I most i love is your voice and the way you communicate and explain the things. You are 1st choice for me for any topic explanation. Thanks alot. ❤😊😊
Sir I am opting for cdse . read many book to understand earthquake. couldn't understand. watched many. couldn't understand. but after watching you video my all doubt is clear
Wow...Thank you so much for this video...as a geography student myself,I am relieved to know of such mindblowing information..this video has been very useful to me
wao sir what a clear and easy explanation sinc 1 say i am searching about earthquake but all my douts was not cleared randomly i got your vedio in reccomendation and i amd so happy that finally after long hard work my douts are cleared with this video thanks to you
Actually when seismic or any kind of waves that travel from denser to less denser medium velocity increases .. from less denser to high denser medium , velocity decreases where as frequency remains same at both the cases with respect to magnitude .
At 1:49 you said focus that is epicenter actually that is hypocenter...... I think you said that by mistake....... Epicenter is the perpendicular above point where earthquake wave hit the earth surface first .....
You totally spoken the ncert language but used diagram to show clear some doubt like term fault was explained with use of picture. Geography is nothing without map and pics. Nice explanation 👍
I get were you are coming from but. I think it’s because we are talking about the transfer of kinetic energy and not the velocity of an object, think of it like like this if you hit sand with a hammer the the energy dissipates immediately but if you hit a solid rock the energy will transfer faster through it
@ 2:26 Speed of the waves is inversely proportional to the density ( meaning denser the material slower the speed ) but this speed of the waves depends on other factors too namely: Compressibility (only for P waves) and Rigidity (for both P & S waves). As Compressibility and rigidity increases towards the core the speed of the waves increases too (because both Compressibility & rigidity are directly proportional to the speed of Waves), This effect is greater than the effect caused by the increase in density therefore ultimately the Speed increases as we go deeper. Hope this was helpful. Thank you
Hi dear, it will be more beneficial p,s,surface with little more detail. Bcoz this is the concept with more confusing and most imp for competitive exams . Very frequently welcome across questions on this topic at same time very frequently people like me do mark wrong answer for question asked.
saya sangat suka dan membutuhkan video ini untuk media pembelajaran saya di kelas, trimakasih mister atas video yang sangat bermanfaat ini (komentar dari CHANNEL GURU CAKAP, seorang guru geografi SMA di Indonesia)
As the seismic waves; surface waves in particular come across the materials of lower density near or around the surface, they refract & reflect thereby leaving behind a fault. Does this imply how "faults" are created? Please elaborate 🙏

Ya it's amazing #GeoEntire
As you said all earthquake takes place in lithosphere, the visual in which you are showing body waves , is showing focus/hypocenter in the mantle.
@amitsengupta please verify.
I have the same doubt
It not only occurs in the lithosphere, it also occurs in some upper mantle part near moho discontinuity or below that too.
@@ss_2302 bhai he did that so that you can understand and able to see clearly
Outer core se earthquake energy travel krke nhi aati h🤣🤣🤣
Lithosphere includes upper mantle
*Awesome explained Sir.

2:30 the denser the material the higher the velocity??? Is it true? Velocity and density has inverse relation
