I'm glad I'm not the only Booktuber covering Lehane...I was starting to get lonely there Carlos...
We also have Durfee!
His first novel I read was "Darkness, take my hand." Great title!
Nice! I think I read the first two of those way back
Excellent review and i agree with it all.
Thank you!
Great review mate! I own one Lehane book, shutter island I think it’s called, could be wrong lol, but I might pick this one up first!
Cheers lad! Yessss that's probably one of his most famous because of the Scorcese/DiCaprio movie... Never read that one, precisely for that reason 🤣 I saw the movie too many times haha
I read The Drop last year and enjoyed it. I saw the movies for Mystic River and Shutter Island years ago and want to read both books. I was thinking about getting into his Kenzie and Gennaro detective series, but idk you might have convinced me to read Small Mercies next instead.
I read a couple Kenzie and Gennaro, they're great! And Mystic River is heartbreaking
This sounds like a very interesting book. Thanks for the review Carlos!
Thanks Chas! I'd love to see some folk on our corner of booktube branch out and give him a go
I really like his Kenzie and Genaro series. Too bad he finished it.
