It is very cool module kit! I am currently building quadcopter/drone, and i want to have this running with a few sensors to have self-balancing and hovering. I notice it got a nice screen and in the video showing it can run voice control and small which is perfect to have it as main controller for in-home IoT things. #Espressif
It would be great to use as ESP32-s3-BOX-3B as Matter controller in the ESP Matter solution since it has 2.4 inch capacitive touch display that could use as HMI, with other cheap microcontroller from espressif system, such as both the 32-bit RISV chip products, which are ESP32-C6 that support 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5(BLE), Zigbee, Thread & Matter and ESP32-C3 that has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 , ESP32-C6/ESP32-c3 (Wi-Fi enabled chip) with ESP32-H2 should able to work as OpenThread Border Router and end device for application Matter over Wi-Fi uses ESP32-C6 since it supports Wi-Fi. #Espressif
Honestly, the device is so terrible I can't even recommend it for its low price. It can barely pick up the wake word when you're right in front of it in a quiet room. It also seems to just stop responding to the wake word for minutes at a time for some unknown reason. The two combined mean I end up shouting at it at least 5-10 times before it responds, which is _the_ most frustrating thing possible when trying to use a voice assistant.
