So many similar videos on how to make “simple” lentil fritters are actually pretty complicated and involve obscure ingredients; your recipe is simplicity itself and doesn’t require esoteric WTF ingredients like flax whatever grown only on the north side of some mountain in Sumatra.
Delicious! Here are some of the changes I made to put my own riff on it. I added chopped celery and some wondra and oats and cumin and then used gochujang in place of the tomato sauce which gives it a little heat. Thank you
You can refrigerate remaining patties in an airtight container for up to 5 days. You can freeze them also just wrap each individually in parchment paper to avoid sticking and place in freezer bags.
Actually, lentil patties are easy. You soak 1 cup of red lentils 2 hours (I use 1 teaspoon of chicken bullion in the water for flavor), then dump the water. Then grind up lentils in blender and add anything you want (I add grated raw carrot, chopped fresh parsley), you can add one egg white and 2-3 tablespoons of chickpea flour (flour optional). Then make small patties and slowly fry them in a small amount of olive oil (cook about 7.5 min. on each side). Then put paper towels on a plate and remove patties from pan and drain on plate. And eat. If you feel they are too dry you can add a tablespoon of olive oil to the mixture before cooking and/or leave out the flour. No brainer :)
For the dipping sauce - Add roasted cumin powder, red chilli powder, salt and coriander leaves(finely chopped) to the hung curd and mix everything. Try to grind soaked lentils without water it should be thick enough and your patties won’t break.
To make this video better, I would get rid of the "music". Have birds tweeting in the background or something. A lot of people already HAVE music playing in their homes and this just doesn't work. I would get rid of the yellow, not well-applied nail polish and go for white or something that looks clean.

Can we store them frozen?
Yes, You can freeze them also just wrap each individually in parchment paper to avoid sticking and place in freezer bags.

Normal water..
How can I cook them without frying in oil?

Thank you for your feedback! I am always looking for ways to improve.
Those are split peas not lentils lol
Split peas are green. These are red lentils, but split.
These non verbal vids are lousy.
👍❤️👍
Nope, meat is better.
Might be...but its exacty that way of thinking that will ensure our very own destruction.
Everyone wants to eat meat.
