It's funny how when we think of NY we always think of NYC which is such a small part. There's so much more to NY, woods, farmlands and small quaint towns. Happy Trails🦮🦮
It's good to see the Edibles in the videos, I couldn't identify the Chicory. Carrie did an amazing job of capturing how beautiful the Gorge really is. It reminds me of the many summers I was there and how I miss seeing it. There is another waterfall that can be seen from the river. A nice easy paddle with a few class 1&2 rapids depending on the water level 😍. The restaurant at top is worth a visit, bring some $$$. Wish I could give the video more than a thumbs up 👍 👍👍
Gosh I sure have missed y'all. I spent my 66th birthday on route 66 with my daughter & my dog in a minivan. We traveled for 5 weeks from Arkansas -Colorado-Utah-Grand Canyon before my daughter had to fly back home. My dog & I are learning how to live on the road & finding cell service & internet can be quite a challenge. You make the best scenic/informative & fun to watch videos on UA-cam. May God bless, Iris & Little One ❌⭕🙏
Thanks for showcasing another fine state park in my area. Been to Lethcworh many times. Imagine that canyon filled in with water, in 1972 hurricane Agnus filled it to the top of the Dam. And like you said, thanks to the Civilian Conservation Corps for all the work done to create these beautiful parks in NY, PA and other states.
Thank you for showing us these fabulous state parks! My family use to go to Watkins Glen and Robert Treman when I was small. I remember how beautiful they were as a child. They left an impression on me for sure. I just got back from Hither Hills on the eastern end of Long Island. A different kind of beauty, endless beaches and whales passing by. Our country is filled with such beauty, thank you for reminding us of that each week. Safe travels.
You're speaking my language......beaches and whales! I still cannot fathom just how beautiful our country..... and the earth is!!! After 5 years of full time travel, I still feel like we have hardly scratched the surface.
Letchworth is beautiful and dramatic but Watkin's Glen definately gets my #1 vote. Dave, I loved your wild medicinals quizz. Got'em all right, but I'm really into that and have studied a lot. You should do that more often wherever you go. 😊 Roodle did indeed look very happy and content being with you both. 🥰 Have a great week!! 🍂🌾♥️🌾🍂
Watkins Glen was my favorite as well......but if I would have gotten to take a hot air balloon ride it would have been a much harder choice. Dave is really loving learning all things wild edible! Thanks for the feedback.... we will keep doing the quizzes...it was fun.
Carrie and Dave. Your videos from New York have us plsnningva trip next spring. I hope your potato harvest is going well. Pam and i are sure the quality of your videos is as of higher quality than network TV. Thank you and stay safe and pet Roodle for us.
All of the state parks are beautiful in their own way. Your cinematography makes me feel like I am there. You are very talented. Y’all enjoy your work and make lots of money. I can’t wait to seeing Alaska thru your lenses.
The falls were especially beautiful. All the edibles are found in Wisconsin too. My California sisters loved the chicory this year as it was hot and dry blooming early in June when they visited.
Dave, I love your wild edible segments! I was right in my guesses on all four of them, but not confident enough to shout out the answers. Carrie, all of the NY state park pictures at the end were magnificent. So different from our basalt geology in Oregon and Northern California. Roodle, woof, woof. Good boy!
They are all BEAUTIFUL! I think Watkins Glen was my favorite, however, if I could have taken a hot air balloon ride at Letchworth...... I think that would have won me over!
Always great content and superior photography and editing. Can not understand why you don't have tons more subscribers. Always waiting for the next video.
Great video we live in Baldwinsville NY. We love our New York State parks. Letchworth is one of our favorites. We love the 1000 Islands Area. We love Cedar Point State Park in Clayton NY. You have to see Boldt Castle. At Cedar Point we love camping on the St Lawrence. We were there in August we saw over 30 ships and one was a cruise ship. New York is beautiful. We like Four Mile Point in Lewiston NY. It is close to Niagara Falls. A lot to see in New York
Im soooo glad you explored NY State and didn't zip through! Ive been to Watkins Glen and after seeing it again here, I want to go back. I love Lake Minnewaska....so if you come back east, maybe you'll visit there. Loved the wild edible section Dave! (and Carrie's camera angle too LOL) Beautiful video, music, transitions, trees and amazing nature. And, Roodle in the grass. Thanks guys!
Glad to hear that! I think next visit we will have to explore it a bit more. I would love to kayak the Genessee river. I would really love to experience it in winter!
Just stumbled on your channel. Thanks for posting your beautiful video of Letchworth SP. I live in eastern NY and have never visited Letchworth. I need to make a visit now after seeing your video. By the way, cool haircut Dave.
Many nomads went to the northeast this year. But, as always, your presentations were definitely The Best! (Being from north central NJ I recognized all the plants of my childhood.) All the parks were my favorite!
I don't know which state park should be number one, I haven't seen any of them, but they were all beautiful. Ask me in a couple of years after I've had a chance to see them. Keep the good stuff coming guys and give Roodle a treat for me.
I haven’t been to a lot of NY State parks, but I did live near Minnewaska State Park & use to go there often. If your ever back in NY, check it out. You will not be disappointed.
Such a Outstandingly Gorgeous Sites ! It Would Be Nice To Know Them However, “Being” With You Guys Around Is Such a Pleasant Trip That I Already Consider Myself Satisfied ! Many, Many Thanks For Sharing Your Experiences ! Best Regards, Ed Pindorama
All so pretty. Thanks for sharing because I don't think I will ever get there. I enjoyed your edibles quiz Dave! I'm proud that I knew 2 out of 4, but that was because I knew the flowers. I didn't know they were edible! Ha!
Oh my you guys are fabulous! I have really bad knees and not able to hike like you all. But,you all have brought the sites to me. I love how you tour the states and share the hidden scenes! I am envious but can't wait to see where your going to explore next!
I like Watkins glen better honestly.... from the video anyway...lol... it was just amazing... thank you for going to all these pretty places that I will prob never make it too.... thanks for bringing us along... stay safe and happy.... Deb from South Dakota
Awesome video! We were actually there about a month ago. We even stayed at the same campground, although we were in the first "official" site there, near the trail head. We camped there for almost 2 weeks and loved it. We have a small trailer but we did see a huge class A motor home come in and they were there for a couple nights, I think.
How close is the camping area to Letchworth? I'd vote for Treman since swimming is available/allowed unlike the others. I saw mullein on your walk to upper falls.
Yes, Letchworth has a state campground and it is off of the main park road about 7 miles from the Falls! There are eight loops, and four of them are dog friendly.
The spot that we boondocked at is about 10-15 miles away from the state park. I read that Letchworth also has an Olympic size swimming pool..... if you dont mind sharing.
Did you see our last two videos? We stayed at a free campground just 10 miles away from Watkins Glen. You can stay for 14 days and you would definitely fit there! its finding other camping once you leave that campground that is problematic.
It's funny how when we think of NY we always think of NYC which is such a small part. There's so much more to NY, woods, farmlands and small quaint towns. Happy Trails🦮🦮
There is nothing better than a Saturday morning with your AdVantures!
thank you so much!!
I’m from California. I like pretty much anyplace that’s that *green* in the Summer. Thanks for posting! ☮️❤️🐾

Beautiful! I love waterfalls. 🤗
I really love your videos, the content is always well thought out and editing is great. I find that i can't wait for next one. Good job!
what an awesome compliment....thank you!

Another beautiful video, accompanied by perfect music selections. Thank you!

Thank you very much! I am very pleased to hear that you felt like you were there. That has always been our goal.
The falls were especially beautiful. All the edibles are found in Wisconsin too. My California sisters loved the chicory this year as it was hot and dry blooming early in June when they visited.
When I lived there there was 5 ft. of snow and salt on the roads. Your images are surreal.
Dave, I love your wild edible segments! I was right in my guesses on all four of them, but not confident enough to shout out the answers. Carrie, all of the NY state park pictures at the end were magnificent. So different from our basalt geology in Oregon and Northern California. Roodle, woof, woof. Good boy!
Impossible for me to choose one above the other as all are amazing in their own right. Big thanks for visiting them.
They are all BEAUTIFUL! I think Watkins Glen was my favorite, however, if I could have taken a hot air balloon ride at Letchworth...... I think that would have won me over!

Love your video. I live about 30 minutes from Letchworth. Definitely a favorite park. And no worries on the prison. It's been closed for a few years!
Im soooo glad you explored NY State and didn't zip through! Ive been to Watkins Glen and after seeing it again here, I want to go back. Glad to hear that! I think next visit we will have to explore it a bit more. I would love to kayak the Genessee river. I would really love to experience it in winter!
Awesome Carrie and Dave
Thank You!
Letchworth SP is only about a half hour away from me! I've been there many many times it's so gorgeous I'm really glad you got a chance to see it!
Just stumbled on your channel. Thanks for posting your beautiful video of Letchworth SP. I live in eastern NY and have never visited Letchworth. I need to make a visit now after seeing your video. By the way, cool haircut Dave.
Some really beautiful imagery in this video. Thanks for sharing this park and this week's campsite.
thank you.....Glad you enjoyed it
NYS is beautiful. I love the smell of the ripe grapes from the many vineyards in the Finger Lakes area.
New York IS BEAUTUFUL!!! I wish we could have seen these parks in the fall.
Many nomads went to the northeast this year. But, as always, your presentations were definitely The Best! (Being from north central NJ I recognized all the plants of my childhood.) All the parks were my favorite!
Thank you very much! I agree, all the parks are beautiful..... but I think I am still partial to Watkins glen!

Another fabulous video Kerry and Dave. TY!
Glad you enjoyed it.... THANK YOU!
Love your advantures, and really like the name this plant section.good descriptions! Thank you!
Thank You! I think we will keep a very similar format for wild edibles in the future. It was easy and fun to film, plus you all really liked it!
Great vidéo, thanks ✌️
I haven’t been to a lot of NY State parks, but I did live near Minnewaska State Park & use to go there often. If your ever back in NY, check it out. You will not be disappointed.

All so pretty. Thanks for sharing because I don't think I will ever get there. I enjoyed your edibles quiz Dave! I'm proud that I knew 2 out of 4, but that was because I knew the flowers. I didn't know they were edible! Ha!
Thanks so much! Good Job knowing two of them.......Dave has immensely enjoyed learning about wild edibles.
I'm going to have to check out NY again. It's been a while.
At a certain point, I believe, you don’t use competition/comparison. You just enjoy. No winner - except you!
I love when you talk about wild edibles!
THANKYOU!! Dave has really enjoyed this part of the journey! He has now graduated into making tinctures.
Oh my you guys are fabulous! I have really bad knees and not able to hike like you all. But,you all have brought the sites to me. I love how you tour the states and share the hidden scenes! I am envious but can't wait to see where your going to explore next!
Our pleasure! Thank you so much for coming along!!
Congaree National Park, here I come!!
Looks like we have to go back to NY!
I got all three as I remembered my Army Survival course.
Good Job!!
I like Watkins glen better honestly.... from the video anyway...lol... it was just amazing... thank you for going to all these pretty places that I will prob never make it too.... thanks for bringing us along... stay safe and happy.... Deb from South Dakota

Nice! did you get to explore any of the trails?
Thank you! We pick Watkins Glen, but like them all.
I pick Watkins Glen too! But if I would have gotten to go for a hot air balloon ride, Letchworth would have won!
There all beautiful
Watkins Glen was my favorite.
Only one I knew the name of was Milk Weed although I have seen the others before.
Watkins is my vote. 😂 I guessed all the plants. From Ohio
Nice! great job! Watkins was my favorite too.
Did you see Ricketts Glen State Park and Worlds End State Park when you were in PA
We have been to Ricketts Glen but did not know about Worlds End.....next time!
Mom got two out of the four😁
Definitely Watkins Glen is number 1! And i think Robert Treman is a close second.

@@oneadVANtureatatime thanks! I like creeks and lakes. No pools. 😊
I can’t make up my mind which park I love the best. I travel in a 34 foot travel trailer and there’s not much option for that in the area. 😢
Did you see our last two videos? We stayed at a free campground just 10 miles away from Watkins Glen. You can stay for 14 days and you would definitely fit there! its finding other camping once you leave that campground that is problematic.
Hard to choose but I think Treman
Hey
What 4k editing software do you use?
Thank you
Hope all is well
I was 4/4. But i had no idea you could eat or drink Milk Weed or Golden Rod.
I thought PA's Grand canyon was cool, NY's is better! Does that state park have a campground?
Yes! the campground is quite large with 8 loops.
I enjoyed this morning’s video so very much. Very cool 🌱 🪴 identification segment. ✌️❤️🚐
Glad you enjoyed it
