  • In this video, we go to our first paid experience since we came to Baja; a natural reserve called Sol de Mayo. There, we explore the beauty of crystal clear creeks and jump off a 40 foot high cliff in front of a waterfall. After that, we drive to our next destination, Canyon Mesquite! Sadly, as we made our way to the canyon using a rustic road, the van got stuck in soft gravel. We tried to get it out, but ended up making things worse, so we left the van behind and went looking for help. We finally got help from a tour van filled with 10 people, and using our rock climbing gear to attack the two vehicles, were able to get pulled to freedom! With plenty of time left in the day, we hiked up to the entrance of the canyon, where we waded through chest high freezing waters. Finally, we make our way back north, making one last stop at a salt flat, where we pay forward the help we got at Canyon Mesquite and help a couple from Quebec who got themselves stuck in mud.
