Nobody points out that he was begging the electric company to extend a couple of days. Then later on in the video the house was dark with no lights the whole time

Dax is the best! I like your thoughts on the video and it's true about the significant other doing those things.
I watched this only a day or 2 ago. It hit so hard. He really feels like he understands the struggles.
Ive got my own issues but the most spot on example of this exact song was my brothers first marriage. She wanted to live in a more up market area, do the cafe and socialising scene etc. He worked as a truck driver and kept ending up doing more and more hours and all she gave back was getting more upset he wasn't home enough or treating her enough. Until she found someone else to give her that attention.
Honestly the hardest part in my situation is, my issues don't seem to matter. I have chronic pain, some semi debilitating injuries and mental health issues. And Honestly even as the sole provider is just feels like more and more is being put on my shoulders, from house issues, housework or making phone calls and organising things.
And then im the bad guy anyway because im also meant to take her for dates or outings etc and im exhausted and struggling so it's hard.
Dax's line about wearing heart on sleeve but not getting mad and not accepting it when it eventually tears is so accurate. I need to be supportive and kind and generous always. But when I need kindness and empathy it's often missing or worse, made into me being too soft or my own fault etc. Im not allowed to be angry because then im scary, never hurt a fly but im still scary apparently.

@@TormentedVet_Reactions kinda sad getting rid of the CBR but when I took a test drive the other day of this bike I was blown away. Only down fall is it's too quiet so that will be the first thing fixed
Money is not where it's at. My first husband had money, but he's an abusive narcissist who hates women and enjoys being every day there is abusive. I'm married to my second husband for 16 years this July. He loves the Lord, loves me, adopted my grown daughter at her request, and loves her and our 3 granddaughters. He is a good provider. We're not rich with money, but we're rich with love and are financially comfortable. I have my real man. Oh, and he doesn't hide his feelings from me, and I'm here for all of it. Wow does she need a toothbrush and cleaner for her kitchen mildew. Yikes for real.

You are right unfortunately. I work for quite a while before I had to have some of my brain removed which left me disabled. But we learned to lean on the Lord and He has never let us down. But money is how the world operates.
It is scary going through the the same but it's m the paycheck

Hey man I’m 19 enlisting in the army next month when I pass a drug test for weed. Really exited but really nervous at the same time. The benefits like VA housing, insurance, no credit card fees when ur active and stuff like that are great but with the way the world is looking right now I just hope we don’t go to war. My grandpa was in Vietnam and told me he really doesn’t want me to have to go to war because he’s been through it and it’s awful. Any advice or thoughts ? I’ll be enlisting in 11b infantry and hopefully going to airborne school after AIT
Don't join the military if you don't want to fight in a war.
I hope we don’t either but it’s a reality you must come to terms with if you do join.
16:39 let’s differentiate here, man. You’re talking about throwing a few back after a long day but what’s been depicted is him using alcohol as a crutch. And I’m not dissing the man for doing it Lord knows I’m not judging. But that’s the difference see he’s drinking to forget, not to have fun not to relax he’s drinking because he’s got this pain inside of him and he doesn’t know what to do with it. He’s trying so hard and failing he silently screaming and what he needs is for her to take him and hold him and say it’s gonna be OK. I’m here. We’re gonna get through this. Instead, she just looks at them in the face and says I want a real man.
