    This is fantastic info
My mare was rather irritated a few weeks back wouldn’t walk off , would pin her ears turn to try to bite my foot
Leading her to the arena she actually bit my back ( she’s never bitten ever)
Had my chiro out she was out in the sacrolliac Has been a few times
After treatment she was to do some ground pole work
I did then ride her & she walked on Nicely but then did the same when asked to a Trott!
She became uncomfortable when I would do up girth
I though she may have an ulcer
That chiro had moved away , have an Equine Osteopath now & she suspected the same thing an ulcer
To my knowledge she hasn’t ran into anything
On doing some research I have found out with ulcers how it does affect them around the sacrum area ( where she’s been ‘ out’ a few times )
Thank you for sharing this 😊

How do we keep it from happening again?

This looks and sounds so much like my gelding! He has run into a solid unmoveable object, he will not lift his T spine at/behind the wither area no matter how much I try to get him to (and he gets pissed when I try), but will do butt tucks quite readily. I do stretches with him every day.
He is starting to get girthy, and will turn and try to bite when I put my leg on when riding. He is sensitive on palpation in the spots you showed. I was thinking maybe he had a rib out, or first rib misalignment. I am suspecting his issues are on the R side. Anyhow, can you please explain a bit more about what spot you're feeling for and what you're doing with your hands on the ribs behind the elbow?? I would really like to try this and see if it helps him. Looking forward to hearing from you! Thank you! 🙏❤

How are u putting T12 back in there? Holding the spinous process and getting them to step laterally... is that the idea?
