NRITYAKOSH| Saidi | SAFAR-E-RAQS II| Luxor Baladna

This Saidi piece set to the music "Luxor Baladna" was presented in Safar-e-Raqs II, an 80 minute belly dance production that charts the journey of belly dance from the 1700s to present day - through different social, political and cultural landscapes. The piece was performed by Advance batch of Nrityakosh - Pronamika Roy, Sharon Leonita Rowe, Rituparna Roy Chowdhury, Priya Das, Dinesh Digal, Vineeta Mudgil, Sumeeti Lalwani, Riya Mylanahalli, Ashni Rai, Kumuda Prakash - and mentor, Debapriya Das.
Safar-E-Raqs II was presented in Bangalore, July 2nd, 2022 at the Bangalore International Centre.
