When he does the high notes with the guitar, he sounds like a guitar himself. I call that the guitar riff vocal and he does it at the end and in another song called "across endless dimensions". Just insane how he uses his voice like the instruments around him. Pure talent born from years of practice.

Dear Frederick, we'll keep your memory in our hearts. What I like about Dimash in this performance is that his sense of the dramatic is very reminiscient of Freddie, while his technique is unique and doesn't intrude on the original in that regard.

One woman who went to one of DImash's concerts said that the whole stadium was shocked at the power of his voice and likened it to a religious experience. She said it took nearly 2 weeks to return to normal. This is why "Dears" (Dimash named his fans Dears) fly in from all over the world to see him.
Here is a "quote" i copied to post from a past reaction to Dimash:
    "unico unici
Miss, you seem honest and passionate. So you deserve me to explain to you who and what Dimash is. I will use the Google translator hoping for a good translation. In any case, I will also bring my text back to you in my mother tongue. I'm Italian. I've known bel canto since I was born. In Dimash's case, talking about octaves, as well as his whistle log and immense vocal technique, is still reductive. Dimash has a universal voice. To be clear, his voice is like what in biology is called a totipotent cell. In this sense it is a "stem voice". From this cell can be generated any type of tissue, what are commonly called musical genres. Its transitions are such that the transition no longer exists. Dimash does not sing the different genres (opera, pop, rock, also rap et cetera...). It's all genders already. In his case, musical genres are nothing more than a coloriture, an inflection, a declination, of his general voice. The same applies, of course, to all his voice records. This also leads to the fact that he sings easily in several languages. The different national languages are nothing more than determinations, sub-species, of its general sonority. Dimash has sometimes been criticized for not focusing exclusively on the Opera. It was Dimash himself who declined the invitation to specialize in operatic singing. And this is perfectly consistent with its nature and value. Dimash is not only an operatic singer, neither just rock, nor just pop, nor anything else specified and specifyable simply because he is a "holistic" singer in both the philosophical and scientific sense of the term. Dimash is a "singing system" that is more than the sum of its own parts. He sings with his whole body. This fact does not only relates to technical considerations relating to the posture to be taken at different times and modes of singing. It is first and foremost that, as I said, in Dimash singing is equivalent to the whole organism. I suppose sooner or later this should have happened in someone. It happened in this Kazakh boy. In summary: The other singers, all the other singers, perform a song. Dimash executes himself."

This is such an interesting take on the phenomenon that is Dimash. The other singer I have been following with amazement is Angelina Jordan, and the summary, contrasting singers "performing" a song with Dimash "executing himself" made me think of what is often said about Angelina as well -- Others perform a song; Angelina becomes the song. She does not have the pyrotechnic range of Dimash, or the stage presence and drama that he brings. Her voice is, however, completely mesmerizing in a different way.

It was quite a while since the opera 2. It would be awhile too before you reach his recent songs. This “the singer” version is 14 episode and you are on the 3rd. Please so a little frequently than what it is now. You are really well versed with your profession. Your reaction is commendable. Fascinating to watch. The next song is autumn strong. I don’t want to spoil it but there’s a beautiful back story in Gloria wu channel. That’s the best way to watch it. Yo know the story behind the song. The story of betrayal and prejudice. You will appreciate it more than just going into the song itself. You will not regret it.
In this song the show must go on. Dimash have only 4 word English. “Hi my name is dimash”. He learned this song phonetically. And that makes this performance incredible more than it already is. So with the autumn strong. He learned it in one week phonetically too.
Thank you for this reaction. I so love it!

Unfortunately, the amount of commenting in a reaction video has nothing to do with whether it will get flagged or not. It's a very political world and record labels want to keep the money from their tracks even if it qualifies under "fair use." That being said, the video may not get blocked per-say, but the UA-cam most likely is not making money from these types of videos. Thanks for commenting and so happy you are enjoying my videos ☺️

Hi from Texas, Jess. As a singer yourself, I'm sure you have an even greater appreciation for Dimash's vocalizing ability since you understand experientially what it takes to do the things he does with his beautiful voice. Seems he's just one of a kind and one of the best singers ever but he's very humble because he's said that he knows his longer than average vocal chords that allow him a 6+ octave range are a gift from God that's he worked very hard to develop to the max.

Excellent review as always. I respect you giving other artists your platform, rather than regularly dipping your toes in the crowded Dimash-review pool for easy views.
Having said that, can't wait for the next Dimash review! :-)

Thank you for your reaction to "The show must go on"! In the next episode he sang "Autumn Strong". This is the original video ua-cam.com/video/6iWO7uGnavI/v-deo.html . You may also check out the video on G. Wu's channel for the touching backstory and English subtitles ua-cam.com/video/FXQ58U-Eddg/v-deo.html G. Wu alters the videos to avoid copyright, so I guess you wouldn't want to do a reaction to it.
