I've been waiting for a cities of Sigmar battle report. Super excited for this! I also really love how flexible they've already made the cities of Sigmar so that this army can be a bright magic elf army or a grimy full cannons and gunpowder force.
We are excited to bring them out as well. We are also excited for the full release there are a bunch of new units that we want to add to the collection. I specifically have been eyeing the freeguild command corp.

a note about FEC, in the future, the spell deranged transformation is an absolute must! With primal dice you can easily get the over 10 casting bonus (its not unmodified) and you can pick the same unit more than once, which makes your horrors or flayers go an extra 12 inches

Thank you TMK, The FEC was a super easy and effective pain reciept and it was great fun to paint them. I did them while watching the Evil Dead Movies lol
I love Cities, wasn't expecting Dawnriders but they were a cool reminder.
Were they able to cast/dispell in CoS?
I was trying to find a decent unit for that 120 points and it just made good sense since i was bringing settlers gain
And yes they can cast and dispell, that ability is on the warscoll.
Strike them down is in the charge phase and if you charged. Funnily enough, the only two orders that can be given to the same unit in the same phase is strike them down and countercharge, since there is no restriction on this as every other possible combo is impossible, as in return fire and suppresive fire or counter charge and engage the foe

Thank you for the compliment! Sometimes with GW, you have to just do what you can until they release the actual models LOL. Or they are 20 years old and too ugly to put on the tabletop. Cough...Skaven..Cough
For the order "strike them down" to work you need to charge with the unit.

@@BattleshockWargaming That was an amazing battle report. I almost wrote off using the hurricanium, I might reconsider doing that.
I am pretty sure you guys messed up the Surround and Destroy for the FEC, you had 2 units still within your territory. They need to be 3 different edges but 2 units need to be wholly outside of your territory. This battleplan is almost impossible to achieve it early turns unless you have some teleporting.
Just double checked it, David did have both units of flayers outside of his territory and next to different backfield edges, and then on the otherside of the map he had another unit in his territory next to a different battlefield edge. I even double checked the deployment map and it looks good to me. But if i am missing something let me know.
Flayers wound bravery 6 or less on a 2+, they could have absolutely SMASHED the Fusiliers or Darkshards with an all out attack shooting. I understand you are learning and Im just happy to see FeC on the channel! Great batrep, CoS looks solid!

Good report, and great armies! Just one doubt, Am I wrong or did you forget the coherency rule for units of 6+?
The latest battlescroll changed coherence from 5 models to 6. This was to help fix the range problem on a lot of units. Hope that helps :)

Honestly could have been a totally different game if blizzard spell didn’t exists.
For sure, that Blizzard panic button can really change the game if used at just the right time.

That is a 3d print that we got in a trade, not sure where you can find the STL, but there are tons of good prints out there :)
Where did you get the FeC Knight Hero hanging off the pillar? It looks like a GW model but I can't find it anywhere
i think you are talking about the Abhorrant Archregent, its a GW model but its currently out of stock at the mother ships website. Should be able to find it on Ebay.
