@silverstopmotion I haven't got rid of all my flickering either. But I always work in complete darkness haha, with one single lamp as lightning. I don't have any fancy stuff, and I don't edit anything to get rid of it. It can be your camera settings or something like that :)

Great animation! The flickering comes from this: You camera does an auto exposure and auto white balance. After you put your arm and fingers into the image for animation, those values don't get back to the same state as before, so the image is slightly different than the previous one. The only way to prevent this is to lock down the camera: Set Exposure, White Balance, Shutter speed and Autofocus to "manual".

    Yeah, really smooth!
On the flickering... get a consistent source of lighting, (like a desk lamp) and get your room as dark as possible. (turn off all the lights/close any windows/blinds)

like the others said, it does have a lot of flickers, but wow it's smooth, really good work man!

that was really smooth, i know every one is saying this, but try to reduce the flickering like shield off sunlight and use a lamp, also if you have a webcam try turning off the auto exposure

Try getting a desk lamp, and (as Bagi said) get your room as dark as possible to remove other shadows / variable sunglight etc. Btw if you still want a light background then you could always try securing some white card as a kind of "background" (ive never done this before, but it's worth a try ;)

@silverstopmotion I got just a desk light and plugged it in, I use 2, one on each side of the spot your animating at, I'd suggest doing your animation in a darker room so the light won't change much, flickers are tricky to get rid off, good luck man.

@silverstopmotion All you need is a desk lamp, make sure you room is as dark as you can possibly get it then turn on your lamp, also make sure you set all settings on your camera to manual especially exposure which turns out to be the main problem when it comes to lighting.
