There are a LOT of shady companies out there that state they will expedite your passport. The only way they can help is to review your information and make sure it is correct. Other than that you can expedite right on the government website just as quickly as they can help. Don't be scammed in to paying $500 - $1000 per passport for them to do almost nothing.
I applied on 1/19 at the Bal Harbour,FL Post office 2/5 I received notification that my application made it to the processing center 2/25- I received notification that my passport was approved and being printed. 3/1- My passport was delivered. I opted for routine processing, which was supposed to be 10-12 weeks. I got it just about 6 weeks after my appointment at the post office. Hope this helps!

I was able to get to the bottom of this, for some reason my addresss was listed as undeliverable and the supporting documents were returned to the passport office -which was weird because both my passport card and book had arrived no problem- anyhow, long story short, I have it in my power and the passport agency has my passport book and card in their possession and are correcting them as we speak. Phew! What a trip! Thank you for your support all this time! Did you receive your corrected passport?

Congratulations to you!! What I know is they ask you not to travel anytime before your Oath ceremony. Due to Covid and that it may delay things for you if you end up sick or have any symptoms.. I don't know about 6 months.

hi there! depending on your state/city, you might be able to get it by COB 6/17/2021. However, if you don't get it by 6/11/2021, sign up for an appointment for 6/14 with the passport agency which is 3 days before your travel and they can finalize it in 2 business days. Good Luck and keep us posted.

It doesn't matter where you write the cheque, as long as it is there and ready once you complete the process of submitting all documents when filling. So, if you dont have a check book now, will you have one tomorrow? You can get a money order at a grocery store which is cheaper than banks

I would say call the post office e that you are seeing on the tracking system to see if they can help.. Post offices have been significantly backed up . I'm sure you'll get it.

The problem is that I am planning to travel early in July around the 10th or the 15th, do you think I will receive by then? I didn’t get a tracking number from the post office he didn’t even ask me if o wanted to buy an envelope he just took all my documents and did the oath and stamped it and said thank you
I got a tracking number because I asked for "priority mail" .. I also didnt do my passport at the post office (I'm confused about taking the Oath at a post office).

When i submitted my application, the agent took my original birth certificate and NOT the copy. Is that normal? I thought they were supposed to take both.

I do not think there is anything as you have already applied and you did do expedited service.. You have enough time to get the passports back in time for your travels.

On the news they were reporting about a huge case of lost mail by the post office.. ppl losing a lot of important documents and Rx. I am also concerned as I am waiting for my passport still. Hello! So I had an appointment for my passport on January 5th and today it was finally processed and I paid for the expedited services. Does this mean I have to wait a month for my passport or will it be based on when you first did the application? I'm supposed to be traveling in April but I need it early to get a visa for the country i'll be traveling to and I thought I would have it by now.
I cannot tell you the exact time frame as all processing centers differ. I do think if you payed for expedited you will have enough time for the visa as well if your travels are in April.. there will be enough time. I didnt pay for the expedited service and I got mine pretty fast.. Goodluck

They were in different envelopes
You’ll get it in a few days. If you also got the card, the card will come a week after your certificate.

I applied for a routine service which takes from 10 to 12 weeks and the day I applied was May 10th, 2021. Yesterday June 22nd, 2021 I have received and email saying that it's in process now. The problem is that I am planning to travel early in July around the 10th or the 15th, do you think I will receive by then? I am so nervous 🥺🥺 I've been planning for this trip since four years and just last month realized that my passport will expire. Hopefully, the processing time doesn't take that long, and be able to receive it as soon as possible so I can get to see my family before I start college in September🥺.
The timeline does seem too close..but try and stay on top of it.. check every few days.. and see where they are.
The post office has been contributing to delays in mail.. but I hope you get it in time.

Hey! How long they took to charge the money from your checking account? I applied a week ago and they haven’t charge me any money. Not the $35 nor the $110 .
The $35 was charged immediately as its payed to the office.. then the other amount I dont know.. as I didnt check my acc for the time frame

I applied on April 14th... but the stateNY didn't receive it until 5/21 and it says 10-12 weeks... idk if thats from 5/21 or 4/12 because my trip is 7/21 and I don't know if I will have it in time
I applied for me and my sons’ on 5/11, still waiting on them to receive it 🙃 called Passport Agency Customer Service and i asked that same question. The representative told me it’s 10-12 weeks from the day you applied, not from when it’s received. I hope this helps 😊

I didn’t get a tracking number from the post office he didn’t even ask me if o wanted to buy an envelope he just took all my documents and did the oath and stamped it and said thank you

When i submitted my application, the agent took my original birth certificate and NOT the copy. Is that normal? I thought they were supposed to take both.
I think it depends.. Was it the first time applying.. are you born in the US.
They do need originals and not copies

Oh okay.. makes sense.. Ss far as I know it is the original that they want.
They keep the copy and send the original where the processing center is.. and they send it back to you with your passport.

I do not think there is anything as you have already applied and you did do expedited service.. You have enough time to get the passports back in time for your travels.

I got the passport 3 weeks ago, still waiting for my certificate of naturalization :(

Hello! So I had an appointment for my passport on January 5th and today it was finally processed and I paid for the expedited services. Does this mean I have to wait a month for my passport or will it be based on when you first did the application? I'm supposed to be traveling in April but I need it early to get a visa for the country i'll be traveling to and I thought I would have it by now.
I cannot tell you the exact time frame as all processing centers differ.
I do think if you payed for expedited you will have enough time for the visa as well if your travels are in April.. there will be enough time.
I didnt pay for the expedited service and I got mine pretty fast..
