Hey August! Nice Cutting Damien! interesting change of roles a little bit - Definitely just enough wood to direct those trees without issue. Great Video!

Very accurate as always, the tensile strength of even questionable wood fiber is impressive.... well except for butterfinger. I have a similar pine to take down in Louisiana, lots of loose bark higher up. I'm just wondering if bird shot will penetrate the bark and hit bats, I do love bats, would hate to hurt one. The shotgun it seems should jar things loose. Not getting near it till some bark comes off. Enjoyed the video, great camera positions, thanks for posting! Blessings, stay safe.

Enjoyed the video. That's some rotten trees.....nice felling. Ooooh, the bats.....ugh. About time you get the Echo DCS2500T in use. It's a wonderful little saw.....well balanced and light. I have been using one for over a year and have limbed entire trees and dropped small tops with no problem. Matter of fact it makes me smile. Mine is bone stock with the 12" bar and chain. Keep it sharp and it will work for you. I do use a Husky 540i for bigger stuff...but I usually start with the Echo. I have been known to carry both saws up with me.....two gun. Give the 2500 a chance....you'll like it. (Hope to see you in Baltimore.)

They are definitely are lighter and more comfortable to wear.

Why do people wait so long to remove dying trees! Never had anyone get hurt from the bark coming down luckily, but seen several saws destroyed and had a bar sheared in two as unlikely as that sounds. Couldn’t pay me enough today to fall rotten trees. Personally I want my harness as light as possible but I’d buy those leather suspenders! 👍🏼👍🏼

Too much work for not enough reason. Modern materials are tougher and lighter and easier to manipulate in manufacturing. The usual modern synthetic materials used at MB are better 🤷🏼‍♂️😬

I have a question which has no connection with the subject of the post but I have the right person to answer me here…
I can't find the answer on the internet and the subject seems quite controversial.
