Xiaoqiao's voice sounds like the person was trying so hard to give her a soft higher pitched voice.

weird how Da and Xiao's stories finish early, but you're still fighting them 2-3 chapters after their story ends.
Da is only 3-4 chapters
Xiao is 3-6
The voice actors sound like they were paid below minimum wage and hated their job.

Zhou Yu was gay, Sun Ce was bisexual because it revealed that they were sleeping together when they were youths. Zhou Yu slept with Sun Ce when he visited Sun Ce house.

Normally I give Zhou Yu a lot of grief because of the whole patting his wife on the head like she’s his kid sister or something thing, but you guys are right. The worst part is definitely the voice acting. Does the character zero credit.

This game costs 99 dollars, even though the voice acting and directing is awful

There is a difference between childish woman and a literal children. Yes, Xiao Qiao's voice in DW9 is quite lack of emotion, but this kind of voice fits more since her role is a wife. I mean, her voice in previous games makes Zhou Yu seems to be a lolicon.
...Man, the voice acting from this game is reminiscent of Dynasty Warriors 3. Awful to the point of hilarious... However, they have NO RIGHT to have voice acting this stupid! These are good actors on board! Surely the director must have been somewhat competent!
That said, some actors left the standard WAAAAAY too high! Jamieson Price as Lu Bu anyone?

It's emotionless, forced, unnatural and overall just monotonous. Compare Lu Bu and Zhang Fei from this game compared to Bob Papenbrook and Jamieson Price in this video. watch?v=QTAymz_LIug and Zhou Yu in any game in DW4 and after. Granted the voice acting went back and forth between passable and decent with a handful of great performances, but in DW9... tell me Xiao Qiao doesn't sound like a robot in this scene.
And what part is forced, emotionless, unnatural, and monotonous? She doesn't sound like a robot. And Bob Papenbrook was the better voice actor for Zhang Fei but he is dead and gone plus he had two games of experience to improve. And the dub was worse in the PS2 games with 9 being behind only 7 and 8 and possibly 5 in the good dubbing section.
I’m sorry but I can’t reply agree to this. I’m not an expert in this field, but I love the two qiaos. Their voices, to me, have been good from the 4th game to the 8th. The voice actors in the old games actually sounded like they knew how to present emotion in their voice without force. I’m not saying it was 100% perfect, but it was better. In this scene you can literally hear the voice actress is trying to hard. You can hear the force. I’ve heard her sister in this game too and her voice even feels put on. I know sun ce isn’t in this but his voice is shit. Sorry to be so mean but there’s no sugar coating that. He’s rushed and forced. These voice actors may not be atrocious but they’re not very good for these characters.
