I used to be a Muslim, and yes, we were taught that Allah gave someone else Jesus’ face and that this person was crucified instead. Also, Muslims do not believe in calling God their father.
I struggled with these concepts for a while after I became a Christian. Thank God Holy Spirit.

    DAY 17
RESPONDING TO MUSLIM OBJECTIONS TO THE TRINITY DOCTRINE
1 Pet 3 v 15 When a Muslim or any other person comes to question your beliefs, you should have responses for them.
Gen 2 v 24 A man shall cleave to his wife and they shall be one flesh; 1 refers to a unity.
Gal 3 v 28 : All are ONE in Christ; Jew, Greek, Gentiles, etc.
    Deut 6 v 4
Muslims believe that Jesus is a great prophet but they don't believe he is the son of God or that he died, they insist that Allah has no sons.
    • They wonder how Jesus can die for mankind, they insist that Allah replaced Jesus with someone else and it wasn't Jesus that died on the cross.
    • They insist that Allah is above his creation and in one of the suras claim that Allah took Jesus up to him self: Sura 3 v 55 (this unintentionally implies that Jesus is above creation & is God).
    • Sura 57 v 3: They believe that Allah is the first and the last which negates Rev 1 v 17 which says JESUS is the first and the last. (Jesus is God, even the Quarn implicitly affirms the deity of Christ)
    • Allah promised that the gospels will be preserved but many Muslims say that the Bible has been corrupted & both cannot be true, if it has, it means that Allah's word did not come to pass therefore also challenges the integrity of the Quran itself.
Some Christians are as ignorant as any other unbeliever and they need doctrine to be taught to them , same as Muslims who are sincerely looking for the truth.

These 100DOD videos have helped me realize that there is so much I need to learn regarding the faith. Also, it’s helping me be a lot more confident to share the gospel and I am beyond grateful and do not take it for granted because the major thing that hindered me from sharing the gospel was fear of being wrong, but that fear can be changed through knowledge. So, thank you so much Sir for this great resource, I do not take it for granted!

Apostle Iren please Sir, l think you should have a Bible School.
The true answer to doctrinal issue we have in churches might be because my believer don't have clarity of knowledge and so we can have a bold and powerful believer who is still shallow in the knowledge of God and His kingdom
More importantly is that we need to balance power with wisdom in this age.
As you were speaking, l saw how not believing in Jesus Cruxifition is holding some group of people in bondage and the devil has so orchestrated it they remain in bondage
I am so glad l saw the light ❤
    Jesus is Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • @meerahopelenoste9210
      @meerahopelenoste9210 5 місяців тому

It is not unknowingly, you are talking about inconsistency in the book. At thesame time there are more than 4 different bibles with facts that are not consistent with the Old Testament.
The Old Testament and the Quran are the same, Allah is God. The same way Christians celebrate Christmas, some Christmas don’t celebrate it because of their beliefs.
Everyone and every religion is open to interpretations, it’s the ignorance of some pastors and imans paired with overly religious people that causes misunderstandings.

In 1 Tim 1:10 Paul condemns different groups of sinners including liars and the sexually immoral. He mentions slave traders there too as well. Read the book of Philemon and see how Paul refers to Onesimus who was supposedly a slave and called him a brother. The folks who were anti abolitionist were very much believers and used scripture to support their fight against slavery. So much more to say, but the Bible is definitely against slavery and the folks who say it’s for slavery need to study some more.

Accountability Check In: Day 17/100 ✅
    - Muslims ask, how can God be 1 and 3 at the same time, Gen 2:24 rebuts this as it already points out the Hebrew word 1 as "echadh" which is a compound unity (bunch of banana).
    - They also believe Jesus isn't God but a great prophet and was never crucified, Surah 3:55 rebuts this, as Allah claims to take Jesus to himself, if Allah is above creation, and he took Jesus to himself, implicitly Jesus is above creation and therefore is God.

    Day 17!💪🏽

  • @nelosoloved
    @nelosoloved 5 місяців тому +4

✅Day 17- When we say God is one ( and three), it's the same One that a man becomes with his wife (Gen 4). And in Gal 3:28 - all are one in Christ. One here means Unity not singularity.
If Allah made someone die in Jesus's place like that claim, why can't it be true that Jesus himself died for us.
Surah 3:55, 4:158 - Allah took Jesus to himself. If he is above creation, that means that Jesus is above creation as well. Implicitly implying that Jesus is God.
The Quaran says that Allah is the first and that last, the bible- written 3 centuries before that states that Jesus is the first and that last. The Quaran affirms the deity of Christ.
✅Day 16- The accounts that the Bible is true did exist. As at the time of the Bible's writing, many witnesses to these events were still alive.
✅Day 15 - The Bible is not contradictory when the accounts seem different. It's called corroborative information. It's the different perspective of the writers of that particular book, when you put the information side by side, you now have a fuller perspective. It's simple journalism
...if They could have really found evidence against Christianity, they would have.
✅Day 14- following the speech-act theory, the Bible contains more meaning than just the definition of the words. It is a spiritual metaphor of spiritual realities. Read to understand beyond the literal definition of what is being communicated. The Bible is a communication of people who weren't trying to be scientific, but to understand what is being communicated. The Bible there to aid the salvation of mankind. Avoid arguments to make the Bible what it was never meant to be
✅Day 13- the Bible may have been written by men as the immediate source, some part of it is a literal dictation of God's words; God is the ultimate source ( Like parents being the immediate source of a child & God being the ultimate source) - God was using the lives of the Bible characters to tell a story, we learn from the lives of the prophet of old. We can divide the mind of God from the landscape of the entire story
✅ Day 12: Jesus said that He is God in several instances in the NT. When he told the priest that he would sit in the right hand of power. Referring to what Daniel said. He is deserving of the worship he received at his birth down to his death. Also, when he asked the Pharisees how he could be the son of David when David called him Lord.
Evidence is laid out that Jesus is God and is to be worshiped.
✅ Day 11- The Hebrew word for One in the OT means one compound unit ( not singularity).
There were instances of the separate entities of the Trinity shown throughout the OT. If it's biblical, it can be strange and it takes humility to study on it and accept it
✅Day 10, let's do the actual work of going after the one lost sheep. Go all out into the world and lead the lost, don't surround yourself in the comfort and safety of the 99
✅Day 9: be more known for what you stand for rather than what you stand against. Follow the law and walk in love. Speaking up only when there's a fault (which you will most likely find because no one is perfect) can make you disrespectful or less compassionate, commend the right instead in love. Pick your battles when it comes to doctrine. Don't allow religious experiences to inoculate you from normal compassion.
✅ Day 8: Challenges may be unpleasant but they help grow a deeper relationship when you come out of it. Going through it together can give you a new sense of attachment that cannot be easily separated. For two 'wise' people
✅Day 7- Lord, I pray for the man you have for me - that you'll give him the prophetic and priestly ordination to bring out the best in me, to speak words of life into me. Help me do the same as well in Jesus name
✅ Day 6 - You can't not be mission minded as an established Christian. As you teach, disciple, mentor or pray for others, you be refreshed or empowered. No matter how small your knowledge is, share it with someone! You preserve your vibrancy by reason of use. We all have the ministry of reconciliation
✅ Day 5- Thank you Lord for the opportunity and power you have given to me to have more and do more. I will do my best and deploy my gifts to handle resources.
✅Day 4- My worth and validation doesn't come from money. I only need it as a tool to do God's and good work. I will be accountable to God fir my finances
✅ Day 3 - Lord, I surrender my right to self Leadership. Scrutinize every fancy idea I have under your will for me.
✅ Day 2 - In Jesus name, I am passionate about substance, truth and depth of knowledge of God, not eloquence because the Gospel may not be intellectually stimulating but has the power to save. Amen
    ✅ Day 1 - I'll be consistent, so I'll be made. Amen

    Day 1️⃣7️⃣ of 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ DOD
Topic: Responding to the Muslim objections on the Trinity Doctrine.
    Texts: 1 Peter 3:15, Gal 3:28.
    1. It is part of our duty as Believers to be interested in Doctrinal topics like the Trinity in order to be able to defend the Faith. 1 Peter 3:15
    2. The same Hebrew word for one, _Echad_, was used in both Gen 2:24 and Deut 6:4 implying the concept of Trinity.
    3. Muslims believe that Jesus is a great prophet. But they do not believe that He is the son of God; that Allah has any son nor that Jesus was crucified.
    - However, with love and knowledge of the scripture, we can teach them to see their errors and inconsistencies.
    4. Reading from Qur’an in Surah 3:55; 104:58: “…Allah took Jesus to him”
    - If Allah who is above the creations, raised Jesus to himself, it means that Jesus is above the creations which therefore implies that Jesus is God.
    5. Also, the Qur’an that was written about 300 years after the Bible says in Surah 57:3 “…that God is the first and last” which is line with was written about Jesus being the first and last in Rev 1:17.
    - This is how the Qur’an implicitly affirms the deity of Christ; that Jesus is God!

      4. For Allah to raise Jesus to himself, he saved him from the people and how does that translate to Jesus is above the creation?
I'm even more concerned because Bible contradicts itself. There are different versions and the narrate stories in different ways and that is what you base your believe in????

@@maryamligali3679 thank you for the question. I’m sorry the reply is coming late but I hope you eventually still see it and engage. I’d be happy to have this conversation with you. 🙂

@@maryamligali3679 to your question that has two parts:
      A. Allah saved (you can also use the word raised, exalted) Jesus from the people (creations of the earth) after they had killed him.
The first question is why did Jesus die? He died for the sins of the world. That was the purpose of his coming to the world at the first place. To die for our sins. So that any who believes in him will be saved from eternal condemnation. Anyone who believes. It doesn’t matter your colour, race, tribe, religion. Just believe in him and you’re saved.
Let’s go to the Bible. In John 3:16 (Amplified version) that says: “For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.”
It will now make sense when you read Sura 3:55: “(And it was part of His scheme) where Allah said: 'O Jesus! I will recall you and raise you up to Me and will purify you (of the company) of those who disbelieve, and will set your followers above the unbelievers till the Day of Resurrection.
      B. Just like PIE taught in the video, The bible doesn’t contradict itself. There’s a lot of corroborative information.
Also, the different versions of the Bible we have is to aid easier comprehension. There’s old English language and there’s contemporary English language. It’s like reading the literature play like Romeo and Juliet or Macbeth that were written in old Shakespearien English language that is not easily comprehensive.
In all the Bible says the same thing irrespective of the version you’re reading from. Whether old or contemporary English language.
That said, Let me answer the second part of your question by reading from another book of the Bible that corroborates to what Qu’ran said many years after the Bible was written:
      The Book of Philippians 2:
vs 5: You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.
vs 6: Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to.
vs 7: Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form,
vs 8: he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.
vs 9: Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names,
vs 10: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
vs 11: and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
So he was elevated, raised, saved, exalted back to his Godly position after he had died for the sins of the world.
I hope this answers your question. Feel free to ask more for further clarification. 🙏🏾

@@victor_ejims Muslims do not believe Jesus died. Allah raised him up to himself and he'd come back. But since you people believe he died for our sins, does that mean we can sin freely because someone has paid the price???
But wait? Who died? Your God? Wow!
The Q3:55 you quoted is not complete.
"Then shall ye all return unto me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute". Do you know what the matter of dispute is?
And who are we returning to?
I leave that to you to answer.
As I keep reading, I see a lot of errors 😑. But it's fine, to you is your religion and to me is my religion.
      I was just curious that's why I made a comment🙂

@@maryamligali3679 this is getting interesting. Thanks for the feedback. Please, if I may ask, What’s the matter of the dispute you mentioned? I’d like to know.
Don’t quit now. It’s not a matter of you keeping to your religion while I keep to mine.
I believe something made you to watch the video, and also go through the numerous comments. It is what someone that is in search of something will do. And I’ll be glad to help.
To the question you asked. Yes, Jesus died for my sin that I may be righteous as written in 2 Cor 5:21 “For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.”
Then with my righteous nature, I should live, love and act right towards others and not in a sinful or evil way that I was saved from. Titus 2:
vs 11: For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people.
vs 12: And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God.
