You know you've heard something special when the live performance is better than the studio recording. What a band
I am a fucking consumer and I like it! Point
Seen them 4x before and each show has been so unique and mind blowing. I will never get over this band. It's a life experience to see them live and I'm going again tonight!
I fully agree.
Werd up
What a soundmaster at KEXP :)
Drummer reminds me of my uncle. RIP. He died @ 23yo. ❤
That bassist is in the feel zone!!
Beyond!
@@jitenmehra17 idk if its a joke going over my head but no it's not, thats Ashish Vyas on bass, Nawazuddin is an actor
But!
The drummer found nirvana 😸😸😸
Hash Vyas, fav bassist, good person ❤
He certainly has his STANK on !
Day 5, song on repeat, still chairdancing, running low on food and water...
Will work on a supply mission to keep you fed. In the meantime, can you grow potatoes from your poop?
ha ha, i am there.
Have you watchd any Bear Grylls videos ? Ok. Just dance a lill' bit slower.. Help is on the way :D
Me too! Send help in a few days!
Let the bassline put you into trance, slow those biorhythms down and you will survive on pure harmonic energy for another week or 3
That bassist is letting absolutely Everybody have some!!!
I cannot stop smoking because of this band.
hahahahahahaaaaa
😂😂😂😂 me too🙋💨
Same lol
haaaha
😁😁
Jamming to this song on repeat at my desk at work. People are looking at me funny but i don't care :) Thievery gives me life :)
I get it!!! I'm doing the same at my home office.. I will keep hitting repeat.. ! I feel the same.. Put me instantly in a better mood. Much needed!
@@sevenseven7333 I listen to this daily. At least half a dozen times if not more.. I think we need to start a support group. Lol. Keep on jamming!
brilliant
They probably want to join you! 😂❤
Can't stop listening to this song on repeat. I don't think there is a cooler fucking song.
perhaps lebanese blonde
Totally.. i probably had 10% of views..lol
this is much better than Lebanese blonde ;-)
It's even better live!
@Lil Yeet lol imagine actually thinking that
Grooviest bass player ever.
Love the bass player!!
My fave
Groovy movin, but he's not actually playing a groovy bass line (for my taste, anyway) I'm a bass player, and I'm soo bored with music where the bass does basically nothing except mirror the kick drum ... (boom - boom - boom, boom - boom) sigh ...
Yeah... well, that's just like, your opinion man.
Haha! Too true.
This and Facing East are the hidden gems of Thievery Corporation. Awesome songs.
This is just Oriental gold!
Salut Marius! 😂
This is an awesome song and KEXP has the most awesome version of them all!
DC 3000 and Tower Seven too. 👌
This song is so underrated, beyond its time
Just discovered this song. Listening and listening and listening....wearing it out!
I really wish they made more music like THIS. This is groove-out, chilll out, arabic dance music at its finest!!! But alas, we just have the one song.
Took my daughter to see TC at Summerfest in Milwaukee a few years ago. We got all worked up with the warm-up band and got front and center. The sun went down, the lights came on, the fog rolled in off of Lake Michigan and the show was ON! Such a great concert and an unforgettable night.
414 represent
I was lucky enough to drive the bands tour bus in Europe 2019 love the guys
story, plz
vapormissile 2019 European tour started in Zagreb finished in Brussels
I am a heavy metallist , but i saw these guys live for accident , and i was hooked right away ! They are awesome
This tune reminds me a little bit of Soulfly
same lol
You know why ? Because people who listen to rock / metal generally have a great music taste. So whenever there is something good enough , you'll vibe to it
Thought you had write a "Heavy Mentallist" Lol
I worked at this coffee shop for few yers , thats how i got to listen TC , they are awesome .
I really love watching these guys play their instruments. The way they move and get into it. Especially the guys on bass & drums.
their drummer's positive aura and general groovy attitude make me want to play the drums again. THANK YOU
I feel this way about the bassist!
Honestly same, been years since I’ve played the drums, god I miss it
SIKE hes just tripping balls
Gotta be honest, this is probably the best song I've ever heard

I'm glad to find I'm not the only one who listens to this on repeat!
I've listened to this song going on about 25 times in 2 hours.
Feb, 2020 ... still watching and listening a few times a week or more. It’s not only the music, it’s watching fellow humans passionately digging the
sounds they are making together as much as I am.

I heard this thing on ending of Side Effects and just had to find it!
I first heard this a month ago and thought what was all that fuss about... since then I keep comming everyday :)
Hey.....cool man.😎😎😎
I feel like I'm back in the 60's.
I wasn't old enough to understand the music then,
But I'm sure lovin'it now.
Peace,love and lava lamps.🎶🎶🎶
You are not old to understand the music now. What happens is that most of it stinks. There are still some good stuff like this.
@@floydian7680 👍👍👍
I dare anyone to find more musical soul than this
Screw chord changes. Find an awesome groove and stay on it. This totally rocks. It could have gone on for twenty more minutes and that would have been too short.
You are totally right!!!
any music without groove feels just empty, dull...
Right? 🎵
There is space and time for both :-)
My Favorite!!
No me canso de escuchar esta rola! De las mejores melodías del mundo los Amo Thievery corporation!! ❤️🤩😍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏✨🙏
Addicted to this song because of the rockin sitar... who knew a sitar could jam out like that?!? This song always gets me up and shakin. Thanks for the great groove
When you play the electric sitar you hit another level of existence
Rob Garza is kind of a contemporary Barry White in that he seems to be in love with the sound itself and he'll do whatever it takes to get the sound right. A band half as good as TC would hire a half-arsed sitar player or just do it with synth. But Garza and Hilton just do what it takes to make it unforgettable.
They made the Motor City vibrate 2 weeks ago. Most lumenaries blow thru town, do the set list, an encore, and its back to the hotel. Not TC. They knocked down the wall, took the audience wherever, and than went across the street clubbin', with the fans. Seasoned yet fresh, TC is as "tight" as any Motown group, and as tough as any Detroit garage band.
I love Thievery Corporation, they are an awesome band! But I had to laugh to myself when I read the comment about the sitar... honestly, it's nothing special... it's downright basic. Still, it fits the music, fits the vibe.
Rob M is the MAN
feat. Hunter S Thompson on sitar...
LMAO
That bassline! ...and that bass player too
Thievery Corp. - Rocks
Class at its finest. Garza, Hilton, and all of their supporting artists are legends!
Lovin' it here in Florida!!!
Dance with me here in London!
This is pure magic.
That bass player has the funk!!
I saw them in Miami in December 2021, mesmerizing...!!!!
love this as part of my long drive playlist...and repeat play three times 😎
God damn, the funk is real on this one!
Love Thievery Corp♥♥♥
What a band. Period.
Saw them last night in Toronto. They opened with this joint. Epic show!
Never stop making music, TC.

Just gets better and better each time I listen
Damn...... I love it......
Amazing to see you guys play this, one of my alltime faves of yours for sure. ♥️
I’d watch it just for the bassist. ✌🏼
True Blood brought me here. Love this song 🙌🏼☮💜
Brilliant. I don't know who the"thumbs down" people are, but they are sad, sad people and clearly have no taste. TC is fire.
Like a modern funky Frank Zappa....musicians musicians.... top of their game. Perfect.
Just with Arabic touch!
Saw this Live in Terminal 5, NYC. Mind Blown.
This and All That We Perceive on loop! Awesome! :D
I dont want this jam to end.. Ever
Song is just a straight up Jamm & a Half 😎
Usually, If I hear a song/beat just once, I'll always love it. This is one of those beats.❤😎
I listen and re-listen. Music for the soul. Love the Zither! ❤
I can’t hold still! So cool…!!! Takes you on an incredible journey ..🎶🎸🎸🎸…🥁🥁🥁🎸..🎸…🎸🎸🎸….🎶 Bless You and THANK YOU!!! 🙆♀️🙏
amazing Band! Tijuana Concert! boom!
Following since last century
Thievery Corporation concert ticket: $50
Two double shots of Hennessy, beer: $100
To see Frank and Rob and listening to their different songs in awe of their multiple vocalists and to experience the whole Thievery Corporation thing you’ve been listening since ages, to breath in their tunes being amazed how much better they sound live, breathing in the vibe of the same air they are breathing performing for you bringing their very best art to you: priceless.
That video pretty much says it all right there - perfection.
The way the bassist moves makes the performance of this song.
Can’t wait to see you guys in ATL!!!! 🎉
My new favorite song. LOVE these people. Talented AF
TC is absolutely crazy, lovely, and genius❤ Love them, hope to hear and see them on my own ears and eyes
Can never get sick of this♡
This song is too short. All of their songs are too short. Excellent band.
I first heard this song from True Blood episode season 2 "Maryanne Chant"scene.
